Surrounded by the Shenandoah National Park, this spectacular mountain getaway has unmatched views and is situated on some of the highest privately-owned land in Virginia. This bright and cheerful space is surrounded by birds and wildlife. Spacious two-bedroom, one bath accommodation looks down on the mountains with breathtaking 70-mile views. Two outdoor decks with seating to enjoy the views. Chiminea and campfire included. Experienced rental owners. The space This is a sunny and spacious rental in the Blue Ridge Mountains with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains from the two private decks. Best views on the mountain! Amazing sunrise views! Very quiet, private location above a large storage space. One dog is allowed for additional $50. Dog must be kept on a leash at all times. One child above age 12 may accompany adult guests. Property rented by experienced renters with high ratings on another popular rental site. Guest access Private space with two decks and a patio with a Chiminea and grill for outdoor cooking. Spacious campfire circle area also with ample wood available. Access requires driving approximately 5 miles on a gravel/dirt road to an elevation of 3000 feet. All or 2-Wheel Drive vehicles recommended but not required. Entrance to the space requires climbing one flight of stairs. Renters can use GPS to get to the property. Do not use Brokenback Road/Route 614 if instructed to by GPS. Can also contact owners for assistance. During winter months, all wheel drive vehicle is required. Host will try to be flexible with cancellation policy based on predicted storms or severe weather. Be advised that rental property owner cannot assist with vehicles stuck on roads or on rental property. Other things to note Come enjoy spectacular views and the peace and tranquility of 3,100 feet! This rental is located high in the Blur Ridge Mountains adjacent to the Shenandoah National Park. The road is windy and steep in some areas, but our mountain-top views are nothing short of spectacular! Please take note that the latter part of the drive to the Guesthaus ends with a 5-mile ascent up a gravel road. The road is well-maintained, but four/all-wheel drive, SUVs, or similar vehicles are recommended. When you reach your destination, you won't be disappointed! The Guesthaus is so worth the drive with the best views on the mountain! And you can make the drive part of your adventure!! Take your time and take pictures along the way. Stop at the Stone Mountain Winery for snacks or lunch on your way up, with more views to enjoy! One dog is allowed for additional $50 fee per stay. One child above age 12 is allowed.
