Cabana Jacaranda at Cabanas Maracuya

Cabanas Maracuya has been 15 years in the making. The designer, constructor, and your host, Venancio has been building the seven cabins on the property over the years paying special care and attention to the placement of each plant and detail. Each of the seven unique cabanas feature a private bathroom and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with a rustic, luxury feel. Amidst the lush garden covering the property is a shared swimming pool perfect for lazy days. The space Cabanas Maracuya is the perfect place for couples, explorers, surfers, families, and all-around vacationers to enjoy all that Oaxaca has to offer. Venancio takes pride in providing personalized, laidback service in his hometown - according to Venancio, there is no better place in the world than Puerto Escondido. Cabana Jacaranda - one of our six cabanas on the property is up a flight of stairs and has a king bed, en suite bathroom with hot water, AC and ceiling fan, and private, fully equipped outdoor kitchen with a seating area surrounded by trees. We have an on-site pool that is shared for all guests. There are two outdoor showers - one at the entrance of the property and one next to the pool where you can rinse off sand or before swimming. You will be within a five-minute walk to the beach - some of the best surfing in the world and just minutes away from local cuisine, markets, shopping, and nightlife. Cabanas Maracuya is in the heart of La Punta, a neighborhood in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca - a 10-minute drive to the city center and bus station, and 15 minutes to the local airport. Some of the best things in town include dolphin, whale, and sea life sightseeing tours, turtle release tours, sport fishing (by boat, on the shore, or diving) and bioluminescence outings. If sports and beach activities aren't your thing, relax on the beach with great food and cocktails. Anything else you need, please let us know and we'll do all that we can to accommodate you. Guest access There is a keypad to enter the main entrance - we will share the code before you arrive and a key for your cabana that we will leave for you when you arrive. You will have all the information you need to enter the property and your cabana on your own before you arrive. Other things to note The internet is only for recreational use, it is not stable for office work There are taxis available, and if you need help calling one, please ask. If you find you're running low on water, please let us know immediately. We can pump water to your cabana within seconds from our on-site well.
