Ocean View Luxury Villa by Kanapitsa Beach

Welcome to our private Greek family villa overlooking the Aegean sea, found on the exclusive Kanapitsa peninsula. The villa has a private pool and large terrace with BBQ, and five of the seven bedrooms have their own balcony or terrace; all with breath-taking sea views. It's also just a minute walk through our private gardens and path to the beach! The house is divided into two wings, each with a kitchen, so it is a perfect holiday home for a large group or two families to holiday together. The space This large villa has seven good sized bedrooms, divided over two wings; each with its own fully fitted kitchens. The villa joins together with a shared living room and main balcony with outside dining table, and the lovely good sized pool and bbq area. The main entrance takes you to Wing 1 of the house which is slightly more spacious. At the entrance you will find a single bedroom with own balcony and bathroom and the kitchen. This bedroom could be suitable for less mobile members as you only have a couple of steps at the front of the house to climb. Coming down the first set of marble steps you will find the large communal living room and numerous balconies. Continuing down the stairs you will find two double bedrooms opposite each other (one of them with a high quality new sofa bed) sharing a bathroom. One further short flight down you will find the master bedroom, with large double doors opening on to the pool and terrace. It has its own large bathroom, including the washing machine. The second wing of the house contains an identical kitchen including a large freezer and dishwasher. And another bathroom containing a washer and dryer. A further flight down are two more double bedrooms ( one of which opens on to the pool and terrace) with shared small bathroom. And at the very bottom of the house is another large bedroom which opens up to a private garden space next to the pool, and another large bathroom. Please note that the all floors are made of marble and there are no carpets! There are a lot of stairs in the house so please be aware of this at all times with any spilt drinks, wet feet or if you have small children! All bedrooms have AC. Outside of the house you have a large pool area with lounge chairs, a large eating area as well as a BBQ. There are luscious gardens that surround the house. You will also find many small nooks and areas from where you can enjoy the views, over a meal or glass of wine. The house is less than a 1 minute walk from Kanapitsa Beach which has an excellent taverna and bar on the water, a rental place for water sport gear, as well as a dock from which you can take a very convenient and cheap taxi boat into town every hour in the morning and again in the late afternoon and evening. This is an ideal way to get to town for a visit or dinner without having to worry about driving or taking a taxi. We would recommend renting a car to explore the island’s many beaches and to get to things like supermarkets and restaurants. The house is situated on a small hill, allowing for amazing views of the ocean on both sides of the house. The hill is the perfect place for morning runs or afternoon walks from where spectacular views can be enjoyed from many viewpoints. There are 2 available parking spots outside of the house, available to be used by occupants of the villa. Guest access There will be a locked room plus a locked outhouse. The rest of the space is yours to explore and enjoy. Other things to note Please note that this house has been in our family for over 30 years and is much cherished. We have various personal belongings in the house such as books (in German), cds, etc which you may borrow during your visit.
