The best of many worlds is here at Lake Desolation! Relax and take in the view of the picture-postcard lake from the huge windows while being warmed by a fire in the stove. In winter, it's a snowy paradise- just head out and go for miles in the pristine woods. Soak in the whirlpool tub while you watch the moon rise. It's the ultimate in relaxation. If you prefer activity, Saratoga Springs is just 10 miles away, with shops, restaurants, etc. You can enjoy the beauty all year round. The space The house has a beautiful great room which is the center of life in the home. There are 4 bedrooms and a wonderful big kitchen with everything you need. The master bath has a whirlpool tub so you can soak after a day outside. Access the lake at either of our dock spaces, just across the dirt road. Guest access You can use the entire space- house, fire pit, docks, garage, gazebo, and woods. Please don't use the small shed out back. Other things to note There's a grill in the garage, kayak, rowboat and paddleboard at the dock, and plenty of outdoor spaces to sit. Tinney's Tavern is down the road a mile, or across the lake by kayak or walking across the ice.
