With two living rooms and two floors, this space has the ability to send your noisy kids downstairs and finally get some peace and quiet you deserve. Catering to families and groups, launch your adventure to Kelowna and the Okanagan Valley from this 3-bedroom townhouse. A short drive down to the beach... or for the super ambitious there is a full hike down and full hike back up; it's steep, phew! With west-facing views and all afternoon and evening sun this is the perfect place to rosé all day, don't get sunburnt, nobody likes a lobster. Located on the east side of Okanagan Lake, this property is in the McKinley Beach neighbourhood of Kelowna, BC. Our home is a great base camp for you with close access to downtown Kelowna (less than 20 mins), Kelowna international airport (less than 15 mins), wineries, golf courses, ski resorts, hiking trails, and biking trails. Access the lakefront beach within the McKinley Beach development; or sit back and relax in the living room or balcony with expansive lake views. The main floor has a half bath at the entryway, which leads into the open concept kitchen, dining, living room, and outdoor balcony. The outdoor patio boasts unobstructed Okanagan Lake views up and down the lake. There is a 40,000 BTU natural gas bbq, with the best view you have ever had cooking your meal on the grill! The main living room has a massive sectional couch, perfect for families and groups. The master bedroom is located just through the living room and features a walk-in closet and a full en-suite bathroom. Your view from the bed in the master suite is spectacular day and night. On the lower level, there are two bedrooms (each with lake views), a full bathroom, and a large second living room area. The second living room has a 65" TV with access to Shaw Cable, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. A sectional pull-out couch, perfect for kids to sleep on; as well as an additional murphy cabinet queen-sized bed which is very comfortable for adults and kids. The kitchen is fully stocked with a drip-coffee machine, k-cup coffee machine, Chemex pour-over w/filters, coffee grinder, blender, kettle, toaster, cutting boards, pots, pans, baking sheets, baking dishes, serving dishes, utensils, flatware, dinnerware, glasses, stemmed wine glasses, stemless wine glasses, wine decanter, a bar/cocktail set, patio dinnerware, bbq utensils, kids dishes/utensils, and everything we could think of! We stayed as a family over Christmas for two weeks and had six of us for Christmas dinner and nine of us for New Year's; we tested it out to make sure we stocked the place with everything we would need for guests coming to stay in the summer. There is an in-home washer and dryer located just off the kitchen. An attached garage has on-site parking available for two vehicles. There are only spaces for two cars, and little-to-no street parking, so plan on two cars or less. Pet Friendly: this listing is pet friendly, 2 small dogs max. However, pets need to be house-trained, quiet, and well-mannered (careful with our fabric couch). Help us out by being a good neighbour - our strata bylaw asks that pets must be picked up after, as well as be on a leash on the street in front of our home and in the neighbourhood. Guest access There is a smart-lock keypad on the front door and you will be provided with a private code unique to you for your stay, you can check in as late as you like.
