The high-quality materials used were sourced locally. Surrounded by an unspoiled natural, unique landscape, with its fenced park all around, Villa Vetrichina is just a short distance from San Casciano dei Bagni, the most charming village in Val d'Orcia, and from one of the most exclusive and fascinating thermal spas in Tuscany. Villa Vetrichina welcomes an international clientele throughout the year and can be rented exclusively for the same group of people. No sharing with other guests. It comfortably fits 12 adults plus 2 kids thanks to its 7 bedrooms. During the low and medium seasons, we can offer the villa to smaller groups with a tailored rate. Please ask when inquiring. In autumn and spring, thermal waters are a big draw for its Italian clientele fond of this marvelous corner of Tuscany, where time has a special dimension. During summer, there are many activities you can reserve for: bike tours through the famous "strade bianche " of the Val d'Orcia, trekking in the woods, morning awakening in our park with a yoga teacher, horse riding, reaching thermal waters flowing freely in the river, making an experience with a ceramist, having live music in our park, wine tasting, finding producers of our well-known pecorino cheese, and visiting all the jewels of this part of Tuscany, like Siena, Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Assisi, Lake Trasimeno, Orvieto with his wonderful cathedral, and Perugia. Or you may simply relax at home surrounded by ancient oak trees. The garden offers relaxing areas, and the infinity pool is a real pleasure when back from a day out sightseeing and visiting Tuscany. A glass of wine at sunset by the pool is a truly special moment! The ancient walls of the building offer freshness inside, and the furnishings of peasant origin, expertly renovated and located, make the house cozy and homely. Nevertheless, a.c. is in all rooms and living areas. Two beautiful pellet stoves offer the pleasure of fire in the first autumn evenings and in winter. Patrizia, the owner of the villa and hospitality manager, is a very accommodating and responsive host. Together with her qualified staff, she will be available to provide first-class service and hospitality. She is always very attentive and available to any questions or requests you may have (before and during your trip) and for anything you need during your stay at the Villa. The villa spreads over two floors connected internally by a staircase. From the entrance, where the staircase leading to the first floor is located, there is immediate access to a service bathroom. Carrying on, there is a large dining room with a beautiful antique wooden table and a pellet fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a sitting room with a TV. On the GROUND FLOOR: - 1 King-size bedroom with a bath en suite with a shower. - 1 Double bedroom connected to 1 twin bedroom without a wardrobe, suitable for children. Bathroom with a shower to share. - Suite with independent access, with a living room and 2 King-size bedrooms, both with their en-suite bathroom. Available to help during your holidays, you won’t need to think about anything, he will shop, set up, cook, and yes!! tidy up at the end of the meal. With Francesco we are available to organize fun, informal cooking classes but following the most genuine culinary traditions using high-quality quality locally sourced ingredients, and after harvesting our greens, the manor house opens and turns into a lab where water and flour are transformed into beautiful tagliatelle, ravioli, gnocchi, or fettuccine, and the delicious smell of the sauces anticipates marvelous tasting experiences. This will be carried out in our restaurant's kitchen, a few steps from the villa, in a separate building and therefore without messing in your kitchen. The villa has 6 double bedrooms with extra-large beds, plus 1 twin room with no wardrobe, ideal for 2 children. They have memory foam mattresses and Italian pure cotton bed linen. The bathrooms with taps of Italian design all have large travertine showers, and one has a romantic copper tub. Two bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and a cozy living room to share, are on the ground floor and have an independent entrance from the garden. On the first floor, a large and luminous living room with comfortable sofas and a nice small terrace offers moments of authentic relaxation. Together with its covered terrace looking out at the garden and the pool. With a full high seasonal rate are included:  A welcome dinner is offered at our private restaurant inside the property.
