The Fjellspurven (Bergspatz) is 800 m away. In winter you can go directly to the cross-country ski trail and be at the ski lift in about 500 m. In summer time, the 85 square meter all-round veranda offers plenty of time to relax. The area is ideal for hiking, fishing, swimming..... Other things to note With our Norwegian mountain hut, a dream come true for us as a family. We fell in love with the small village of Vrådal in 2017. In 2021, our Fjellspurven (Norwegian for mountain sparrow) was completed in 2021. The cabin is located at about 800 m in a cul-de-sac with beautiful views of Lake Nissersee, Vravatn and the small village of Vrådal. Behind the wooden house is the cross-country ski trail and about 500 m away is the ski lift, which can be reached directly from the cottage in good snow conditions. Ground floor: The cabin has underfloor heating. In the living area with open kitchen and oven, there is 1 bedroom with a 1.80 m wide box spring bed. From the bedroom and the living area, a door leads to the 85 sqm terrace around the cabin. From here you can admire the great sunsets and ascents. You can always find a place in the sun/ in the shade. The bathroom with shower and vanity is adjacent to the 4-person sauna with a door. A large kitchenette with extensive equipment is at your disposal : fridge/freezer combination, induction hob, dishwasher, oven, hand blender, hand blender. Top floor: Upstairs are two bedrooms. In a bedroom with panoramic views of the valley of Lake Nissers and Lake Vråvatn, there are also two box spring beds 0.90 m x 2.00 m, which can be provided as desired, together as a double bed or individually . In the 2nd bedroom, two box spring beds 0.80 m x 2.00 m can also be adjusted as desired. Both bedrooms connect a small hallway, where there is also a small guest toilet. Directly adjacent to the cottage is a spacious storage room where there is a vacuum cleaner, microwave and a washing machine. In addition, there is wood for the furnace. One sled, 2 snow slippers and 2 pairs of snowshoes are welcome to be used. Free, fast WiFi , SATELLITE TV, Sonos box, electricity and the wood for the stove are included in the final price. Other: Well behaved dogs are welcome! Surroundings: In winter, Vrådal offers 8 lifts and 18 slopes in a snow-safe winter sports paradise. From mid-November to early April, the runs are passable. There is something here for winter sports enthusiasts of every level. Whether downhill, tobogganing or longboarding, the ski resort offers everything in a very charming setting. Cross-country skiing enthusiasts can look forward to 40 kilometers of well-developed trails. Ski school, snow park and horse sleigh…. There is something for everyone. In summer, the wonderful nature in Vradal invites you to experiences in the mountains, in the forest or at the nearby lake Nisser. The children can let off steam on playgrounds and ski runways, fishing enthusiasts also enjoy themselves. In the village of Vradal directly there is a supermarket where you can buy all provisions. But there are also plenty of experiences, for example, a trip with the historic steamer M/S Fram on the Nisser and a golf course. Vradal also convinces with its convenient location not far from many other exciting places in southern and eastern Norway, so it is an ideal starting point for excursions to natural and cultural sights in the surrounding area.
