This charming 2-bed, 2-bath flat has been furnished by its part-time owner-residents to be welcoming and comfortable. Its high ceilings and large windows create a sense of openness that makes living here even more enjoyable. We provide plenty of towels, a wide variety of books and all kitchen essentials. And -- just in case -- umbrellas. We now have Air Conditioning installed for the warmer months! A rare thing in London :) The space The flat is large and airy, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area that places a premium on ease. The dining table seats six comfortably, and there's ample seating in the living area. Each bedroom has a king-size (US queen size) bed and a large closet, and the main bedroom has an en-suite bath. A large balcony accessed through both the living room and one of the bedrooms means you have plenty of space both inside and out. Camberwell is well known as a food and drink destination, with many local restaurants, pubs, wine bars, and cafes ready to welcome you. Plus there's ample outdoor access, with Camberwell Green across the road and Ruskin Park an easy stroll. While Camberwell isn’t considered a central London location, it’s only two miles south of the Thames -- so it's ideal for those who want to experience life in a local neighborhood while also having easy access to the heart of the city. It's still very much an urban neighborhood, however; be aware that traffic and noise will occur day and night. For you, that means convenience -- multiple double-decker bus lines running right past the flat heading either to nearby Tube stations (Oval, Denmark Hill, Peckham Rye, Loughborough) or into central London. If you want to continue your fitness regimen, the gym on the ground floor of the building offers day passes. And if you need to work while in residence, the flat offers very reliable high-speed Internet, along with a laptop stand and O-ring light for video meetings. Or there is a co-working space just a couple of blocks up the road. Guest access The whole flat is exclusively available to guests. It is one of only four flats on the second floor of the five-floor building. There is also a communal courtyard in the back of the building. Other things to note If check in is on or after 6pm on the day of arrival, there will be a charge of £10 per hour after this for late check in. If check in is before 3pm, we can accommodate this if you book the night before which we can discount for you at £75. Then we can meet you anytime you wish on the day of arrival from 8:30am.
