The Santiago Family House has its origins in the sixties by Dr. Manuel Santiago (1923-2015). Medical Doctor in  Public Health Medicine, was an outstanding personality in the village. The family has origins in Aveiro and Portalegre, since the 17th century. The conversion into a Guest House maintained it’s family ties allowing guests to experience a refined  and homely environment. It is about 35 km from Aveiro, 66 km from Viseu and 82 km from OPorto international airport. It is a property with a main villa, the “Luxury Guest House” (with 8 bedrooms) and a fully remodeled autonomous rustic house (with 2 bedrooms and a kitchenette), the “Casa Velha”.
