"Chez François" Old farmhouse restored to offer our guests an idyllic vacation setting. Located in a beautiful rural setting, away from all noise and nuisance, the cottage will seduce you with its authenticity and the superior quality of its services. The space Organized on one level, the house consists of: * a large living room with sofas, armchairs, fireplace, TV, internet access available, * a superbly equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee pod machine, kettle, toaster, numerous cooking utensils, dining area with tables and chairs, * 3 double bedrooms (2 bedrooms with 160 x 200 cm beds, one bedroom with a 140 cm bed) each with storage, an open mezzanine that can accommodate 2 children * a bathroom with bathtub, sinks and walk-in shower, * a bathroom with a shower, sinks, * 2 separate powder rooms * a laundry room with washing machine and dryer From the kitchen, a beautiful wooden staircase leads to a bedroom with two single beds. A ninth and tenth bed are possible in the mezzanine of the living room with a pull-out bed. All rooms are equipped with reversible air conditioning offering coolness in summer and heating in winter. The tasteful decor combines designer furniture and small touches of antiquity for a warm atmosphere. Outside you will enjoy: * an unlimited garden area (several hectares of land!!) that only a few rabbits and deer will come to share with you. * a beautiful 10 m x 4.5 m pool, HEATED in season only from May to September * a beautiful terrace near the old bread oven, equipped with tables, garden chairs, sun loungers, parasols and barbecue. BED LINEN and TOWELS PROVIDED, BEDS MADE UPON ARRIVAL Guest access Chez François is 800 m from the center of the very pretty village of St Avit Sénieur, whose abbey has been classified by UNESCO. In St Avit you will find a small grocery store, a bar, a restaurant, fresh bread for the morning. 2 km away is the bastide of Beaumontois en Périgord which offers more shops. The house is in the heart of the Dordogne Valley to explore both the chateaux, the villages of the valley, many of which are "Among the most beautiful villages in France" (La Roque Gageac, Beynac, Domme, Sarlat...), and the bastides of the south such as Beaumont, Monpazier, Villefranche du Périgord, Issigeac... You will find at home many unforgettable activities to do.
