This ski resort offers runs for the entire family while encompassing a wonderful family atmosphere. Nordic Mountain also has an awesome snow-tubing hill for those who don't ski/board. Other areas include Granite Peak and Cascade Mountain. Waushara County has wonderful snowmobile trails throughout the county. The area boasts of 96 lakes for ice fishing, skating, snowshoeing. The local marinas can outfit you with bait and tackle. Many challenging golf courses located nearby. There are 2 golf coursers within 4 miles of Lakesdie Escape-Little Hills.; Waushara Country Club and Two Oaks Golf course. There are also many more courses located within 30 minutes of Wautoma. There are fall activities at Flyte Family Farms in Wautoma; pumpkin picking, corn maze, pumpkin canon, and more. Many Christmas tree farms are located in our county.
