We’re not a hostel, but we’re not your typical Airbnb either: at Buntes House, you can use our fully equipped kitchen or enjoy a delicious traditional breakfast prepared with love by our charming housekeeper. The property has 8 rooms: quadruple, triple, double, and single options. Some have private bathrooms, others share one. All rooms are uniquely decorated and include Smart TVs with access to Netflix and YouTube, plus high-speed internet (100 Mb) — perfect for remote workers or anyone who doesn’t compromise on connection quality. Each room includes a comfortable bed, two pillows per guest, clean sheets, a blanket, towels, a desk, a work chair, reading light, fan, and either a closet or a hanging rack. Most rooms have large exterior windows and natural light. Some have interior windows or no direct sunlight. If this is important to you, feel free to check with us before booking. You can also enjoy our open-air terrace — great for sunbathing, breakfast, or just relaxing. The house is 300 m², spacious, well-ventilated, and decorated with care to feel warm and welcoming. We’re located just 5 minutes on foot from Floresta metro station and 15 minutes from the Estadio area. If you're looking for nightlife, just a short walk will take you to 70th Avenue, famous for its bars, restaurants, and clubs. One block away, 80th Avenue offers shops, fruit markets, and supermarkets where you can stock up if you prefer to cook. Nearby you'll also find the Atanasio Girardot sports complex — a massive public space with running tracks, pools, a skate park, soccer fields, basketball courts, and more. In the evenings, free group classes like Zumba and salsa are offered. Getting around Medellín from the house is very easy: Floresta metro station is just 5 minutes away, and many bus routes pass through 80th Avenue just two blocks from us. 🧠 Useful Info: 🔐 100% Self Check-in: We use a smart lock with a personal code. It is not available for guests staying in other rooms. Garage use is voluntary and under the guest’s responsibility, as we do not offer 24/7 surveillance. The house also has two exterior parking spots available for guests, not assigned to any specific room. We recommend tipping the night guard who watches over the vehicles — it’s completely optional and up to your discretion. Guest access Guests have access to their private room and the shared common areas, including the fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining area, shared bathrooms (if applicable), and the open terrace — perfect for sunbathing or enjoying a relaxed breakfast. Access to the accommodation is self-check-in, using a smart lock with a personal code. Whenever possible, we also love to welcome you in person. If you book Room 1, you’ll also have exclusive access to the private garage. Important: If you use the terrace at night, please keep noise levels low after 11:00 p.m. out of respect for the neighbors. We want everyone to enjoy the space without disturbing others' rest. During your stay We like to offer an independent yet supported experience. You can check in on your own using a personalized code, and whenever possible, we love to welcome you in person. During your stay, we’ll be available for any questions or needs — preferably through the platform’s messaging system. We truly value good communication and our guests’ independence. We’ll be attentive without invading your space, and happy to help if something isn’t working as expected. Other things to note -Private room with a single bed (1.00 x 1.90) and a private bathroom. This is not a full apartment or studio. -It’s a small but functional space, with no desk, though you can work comfortably in the shared areas. -Does not include access to the garage. -The house has two free parking spots at the entrance, available on a first-come, first-served basis.Some guests choose to give a voluntary tip to the neighborhood guard to keep an eye on their vehicle, but this is always at their own risk, as we do not have private security and only one exterior camera. -The house has 7 other rooms, so you’ll be sharing spaces like the kitchen, living room, and dining area with other guests. -TV with access to Netflix and YouTube. -We are pet-friendly, with an extra fee.
