Classic thatched english country cottage in stunning setting in midst of Area of Natural Beauty. All rooms very bright and airy (all rooms dual aspect windows) with a kitchen flooded with light with french doors opening out onto the 1/3 acre garden and surrounded by fields. Cottage is short level walk to Colyton which has 3 pubs, 4 cafes, chippy, butcher, 2 small supermarket, gym, a post office, library, hairdressers, garden centre, lovely walks, a river, 2 football pitches, tennis courts etc The space Cosy but also very light - surprisingly so for a cottage. Whatever the weather the cottage is a lovely space and from the kitchen the view is always gorgeous with rolling hillsides and a landscape that changes with the weather and the seasons. Garden of 1/3 of an acre is wonderful for kids to run and adults to lounge and just soak up the views and enjoy being in the midst of nature. For those that also need to find time to work, there are 4 working areas that can be utilised. Whether you need a huge desk, a kitchen table or are just in need of space for a laptop at 2 of the smaller desks, we've got it covered. Guest access 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom downstairs with large desk allowing easier access and also a comfortable workspace. Guests have the run of the garden, drive and the cottage with use of garden furniture and table tennis table. Downstairs has one step between living room and bedroom and one step between kitchen and living room. Other things to note We are on the Jurassic coast and are fantastically placed for fossiling and and tootling round on a variety of beaches, without being stuck with the crowds. You can't beat coming home after a day on the coast and relaxing in the garden surrounded by rolling hills that take you back to a different time. The view really is amazing and is a great start to every day. Beer beach is walkable in under 2 hours and is great for cream teas (although these can be had in Colyton itself it's true!). An abundance of great cycling and walking routes and if you want a complete break from the car, you can do that here with everything you need in walking distance. There are football pitches and tennis courts in Colyton, and garden good for football, badminton, table tennis and with 2 apple trees producing right into November the cottage is perfect break whatever the season. For those who need their gym Colyton has a leisure centre with 5 side, basketball, and a variety of classes which you can join on a temp basis.
