The space Our cosy guest room offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel right at home. We often hear, “It looks even better than in the pictures!” We've paid attention to every detail to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. The bed is comfortable, and the view is simply breathtaking. You might find yourself staying in bed, windows open, soaking up the canal life just like a local. Feel free to use the fridge for your own items, and make your own coffee or tea whenever you like. Guest access Guests enter through our office space and receive their own key to the main entrance. Feel free to come and go as you please—we're used to that! Don’t hesitate to say hi or ask a question if you'd like. The room is located on the first floor and is reached via a relatively steep, authentic staircase—typical of many 17th-century canal houses. The private bathroom, with shower and toilet, is directly accessible from the guest room. We’re happy to help carry your luggage upstairs. Other things to note The Prinsengracht is part of Amsterdam’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed canal ring. In summer, the area is full of local festivities—from street fairs and markets to the vibrant Gay Pride parade. King’s Day is also a wonderful experience here. Please note: we have two cats, Max and Puck. Puck is a bit shy and usually keeps to herself, while Max—the orange tomcat—is very friendly and social.
