A chocolate-box pretty cottage, full of history, charm and atmosphere. Set in an idyllic village, moments from the South Downs, with wonderful walks, bike rides, picnics and sunsets practically on your doorstep. How about sitting in front of the Inglenook fireplace, basking in the warm glow before heading out to enjoy the two country pubs in the village, with hearty food and local ales? The beaches and theatres at Eastbourne are only a 10-minute drive and Brighton is also within easy reach. The space For such a charming cottage there is a surprising amount of space. Downstairs is the cosy lounge, complete with wood burning stove, two comfy sofas and a smart TV to catch up on your box sets. A separate dining room has a circular table to seat six while planning your next adventure, and a farmhouse-style kitchen is well equipped for self catering, with a big range cooker, dishwasher, toaster, microwave and plates and cutlery galore. This floor has a good-sized shower room and the back door opens to a private, courtyard style patio where you can enjoy coffee in the morning sun. Upstairs are three bedrooms, sleeping up to six in total. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, built in wardrobe and leads through to the upstairs bathroom - complete with big tub to enjoy a relaxing soak. Across the hallway is a double bedroom, and leading off this is a twin room ideal for children. One well behaved small to medium adult dog which has been spayed / neutered may be permitted at an additional fee, but please discuss with us before booking as this in on a selective basis and the owner requests more information.
