La Melinothe is a magnificent 235m2 5-star gîte that can accommodate up to 12 people. Ideal in summer, a swimming pool is just 900 m away. For moments of relaxation, a private spa/sauna is available as an option. La Melinothe is an old barn renovated with quality local materials in the style of the Pays d'Othe. The space La Mélinothe is a totally independent gîte with a total surface area of 235 m2, featuring a large central living/dining room and kitchen area, 5 bedrooms, 4 shower rooms with WC, 2 separate WCs, 1 sports room, 1 activity room. The living rooms: On the first floor, you'll find a large, cathedral-shaped living room that's warm, friendly and flexible, overlooking the garden and featuring a large Lorraine earthenware wood-burning stove, large-screen HDTV with Son/Home Cinema, a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining room (table for 10 people extendable to 12, highchair for baby) and a toilet. It features coat racks, a shoe rack and a comfortable leather sofa. Upstairs you'll also find a weight room (dumbbells, pull-up bars, machines), a small lounge and relaxation/reading area (on the mezzanine), and a large activity room for meetings, training courses, etc. (optional activity room for theme groups, with payment of a supplement of €100/stay/week). The large oak staircase linking the main living area to the first floor can be fitted with gates to protect young children. The wooden footbridge linking the 2 upstairs areas is secured by railings. The 5 bedrooms: Inspired by our travels and countryside, we took great pleasure in decorating each room differently. The comfort of each room is identical, thanks to very comfortable bedding and bathrooms with generous walk-in showers. Beds can be separated or twinned, depending on your needs. Quality bed linen and towels are provided, and your beds will be ready for you on arrival. Last but not least, we've paid particular attention to thermal and acoustic insulation. It's up to you to choose the ambience you prefer! On the ground floor: - the Touaregs room is 16m2 in size, and is equipped with divisible beds (1 bed 160x200 or 2 beds 80x200), and a private bathroom (Italian shower, washbasin, WC). Located on the west side, a burglar-proof French window gives direct access to the garden and terrace. A chest of drawers and hanging space are available for storage. - Bedroom India measures 16m2, and is equipped with divisible beds (1 bed 180x200 or 2 beds 90x200), and a private shower room (Italian shower, washbasin, WC). It can accommodate a folding bed and baby equipment. A chest of drawers and hanging space are available for storage. Upstairs: - the Chêne room, a magnificent 30m2 triple room, is equipped with separable beds (1 bed 180X200 + 1 bed 90X200 or 3 beds 90x200) and a possible extra bed, as well as a private bathroom (Italian shower/WC/sink). It can also accommodate a folding bed and baby equipment. A chest of drawers and a large closet are available for storage. - the Coquelicots room, with a surface area of 15m2, is equipped with divisible beds (1 bed 180X200 + 1 bed 90X200 or 3 beds 90x200) and a separate WC with washbasin. Storage space is provided by a chest of drawers, a shelf and a closet. There's also a special TV screen for video games. Please note that each room has its own key, which can also be used to open the gîte's front door and the gate leading to the street. Access to the wellness spa/sauna room is also available (€90/3-hour session). For the weekend, arrival time: Friday at 6 p.m. Departure time: Sunday at 6 p.m. Arrival and departure times can be arranged on request. Guest access You will have private access to the entire gîte.
