VEO LA MAR is an OCEANFRONT condo at the Sonoran Sea RESORT in Rocky Point. This PENTHOUSE condo has 5 beds and comfortably accommodates 6 guests. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Sandy Beach and the Sea of Cortez from this top-floor condo. Whether you enjoy strolls on the beach, swimming in one of the three pools, exercising in the resort’s fitness center, or simply hanging out with friends and family, then this condo is perfect for you! The space You will find the condo’s living area to be both spacious and relaxing. It has all the “creature comforts” you would desire - comfortable furniture for lounging, three Smart TV’s, NEW mattresses, and a fully-equipped kitchen for cooking. In the morning, you will find yourself drawn to the condo’s tiled terrace to enjoy your coffee (brewed from either the single pod or the drip coffee maker provided) while marveling at the natural beauty that surrounds you. The terrace, with its own table and chairs, is sure to become a favorite hangout for you and your group as you eat breakfast and plan your day’s activities (which may include an afternoon “siesta” in one of the chaise lounges!). From the minute you walk through the door, you will love the attention your host has given to “the little things” for your use while our guest - an outing to the beach (cooler, chairs, pool noodles, beach towels), bathroom amenities (soaps, shampoo, towels, hairdryer, paper products), kitchen supplies (dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, paper towels), laundry room (laundry detergent, iron, ironing board), and cleanliness that sparkles throughout the condo - everything you need for your BEST VACATION EVER! Guest access Upon arrival at the Sonoran Sea Resort, the security staff at the gate will ask for your name to enter the resort. Once admitted, go to the main lobby for check-in. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. The front desk staff will check your ID to make sure the responsible person registered meets the 25 year minimum age requirement. As part of the resort's security protocol, wristbands will be provided for each registered guest 5 years and older to wear. The resort limits the maximum number of guests over 4 years in a 2 bedroom condo to 6. Children under 5 do not count towards the total number of guests. The front desk staff will then provide your 4-digit "keyless" entry code to your condo. Unlock the front door by entering the 4-digit code on the keypad and turning the lock knob clockwise (to the right). Lock the front door by pressing the SCHLAGE button on the keypad and turning the lock knob counterclockwise (to the left). Other things to note Our favorite activity in Rocky Point is enjoying the beautiful beaches and exploring the many tide pools. There are three challenging golf courses for the golfers in your group. And, several educational opportunities such as the Intercultural Center for the Study of Deserts and Oceans (CEDO), the Pinacate and Great Desert Biosphere Reserve, or take a boat trip to bird island! The Old Port area of Rocky Point has many restaurants, popular bars, art galleries, tourist shops and stands, fish market stops, and a large plaza for special events. There are also many opportunities for deep sea fishing excursions and private charters. If you are looking for more adventurous activities, drive across the dunes on rental ATVS or ride the waves on a jet-ski. If you wish to get a bird’s eye view of the beach, soar above in an ultralight, or parasail over the Sea of Cortez. Banana boats can be found on the beach and kayaking is another fun activity. Sunset cruises are a fun way to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. And, do not forget a spa day next door at the Sonoran spa!
