Steps away from gorgeous First Street Rapids park, enjoy a peaceful stroll downtown on the river trail. Kick back in a spacious living area peppered with live plants, or cook a gourmet meal in the spacious and functional kitchen. Relax in the roomy back yard surrounded by native greenery. There is a low maintenance cat (JJ) that lives in the home. No parties or pets please. Trip insurance recommended if illness, weather or smoke may be an issue. The space The home is the center of a large 70's ranch, with two fully contained studio apartments on either end. There are no shared spaces inside the home. Guest access Peaceful backyard patio including multiple seating areas (including covered) and BBQ. Other things to note We are fully permitted by the City of Bend and all of our neighbors are aware and supportive of our Airbnb because we ensure respectful behaviors by guests. Wildfire smoke is a significant risk in the mid-summer to late fall in the PNW, especially east of the Cascades. Please note that both Airbnb (and by extension, us as hosts) can not predict or control the weather or the smoke, and neither of these are considered grounds for exceptions to the refund policy. If you want a more flexible cancellation policy due to air quality/smoke, we recommend purchasing travel insurance through Airbnb, which is offered to you during the booking process. If your time in Bend is impacted by smoke, we are happy to help you make the best of it—there are often times of day or parts of the surrounding area that are far less smoky than others.
