For this to be effective, the second door from the pool to the deck must be deadbolted before engaging the coded lock. A motion alarm is installed, which can be armed/disarmed as you wish. The alarm detects any disturbance to the water to alert you of any unwanted entry via a siren. It can be activated/deactivated by pushing both buttons on the face of the alarm in the far corner of the pool. These are only for your use and the safety of your family. ✹ FIREPLACE: The outside fireplace is a real fire and only Duraflame-type logs are permitted. A single Duraflame log will be provided to you upon check-in. ABSOLUTELY no other combustible materials are to be placed in this fireplace. Please note that the deck surrounding this fireplace is made of wood. A spark or ember from the fire could easily start a fire on the deck. Also, a log could roll out of the fireplace onto the deck as well. All fires in this fireplace should never be left unattended. Do not remove any ashes. We are very close to all the action of both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, yet far enough away to enjoy the natural beauty of the Smoky Mountains. Take a very short drive to the parkway in Pigeon Forge for Dollywood, Splash Country, comedy shows, music entertainment, museums etc Don't forget to take another short drive to walk the streets of charming Gatlinburg and visit its ski resort, restaurants, and shops.
