The Old Distillery - Remy 10 mins to Cognac

Bring your friends and family to stay in a unique property surrounded by vines and located in the heart of the Cognac region. The ground floor is one large open plan space perfect for socialising and communal meals whilst upstairs has been designed with a balance of rooms and bathrooms to ensure that no one gets the short straw! The perfect base from which to discover the famous product of Cognac and to sample the local apéritif Pineau des Charentes, which is made from cognac and grape juice. The space Part of a 150 year old former cognac distillery, the property has been created from the building in which the grapes used to be pressed. The property has a wealth of beams and a cosy wood burner (plus electric heating) for those out of season stays. The ground floor is one large open plan space with 4 sets of french doors running along one side leading out onto your covered terrace with tables and chairs for outside dining. Located in the centre of the cognac region the property is surrounded by grape vines and cognac producers big and small and you can visit producers and sample the produce at any time. If you are lucky enough to be here at the right time of year, you may watch the annual grape harvest or even smell of alcohol on the breeze. Guest access Your own front door and freedom to come and go as you please whilst benefiting from all the other facilities on site. Shared spaces include the large 13m by 6m swimming pool, the games room with pool, table tennis, darts and plenty of outdoor games for the rear parkland. There is also a laundry room, library, free bikes and 2 BBQ areas. Free parking.
