Villa des Fontaines luxury family home with pool

Villa des Fontaines is a modern Provencal style home, with five bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen, air conditioning in all living areas and bedrooms, and an exceptionally large pool with a pool house, several dining areas and terraces. Downstairs has a large living room with traditional large French windows with views across the valley, an open plan Gaggenau kitchen, and the master bedroom with a large ensuite bathroom. Upstairs there are four bedrooms with two large bathrooms, and a movie room. The space The living area has doors opening up onto a large shaded terrace with a family-sized dining table and a powerful Weber BBQ. The upstairs bedrooms are fitted with double beds in three of the rooms and a bunk bed in the children’s room that sleeps three. The movie room is fitted with Bose sound system, wall projection, internet and cable TV channels etc. The second floor terrace area offers beautiful views, and is convenient for quiet reading or yoga practice, accessible from the garden as well as from one of the upstairs bedrooms. A separate storage room houses the utilities, and the laundry and drying machines. A large landscaped garden surrounds the villa, with a 15 meter swimming pool and pool area with a fridge, dishwasher and cooking area and separate indoor shower and toilet. Children’s play area near the entrance of the house has a solid trampoline and a swing set. Nestled on the edge of the quiet medieval village of Pernes-les-Fontaines, you will find this newly built house on a high ground overlooking a view of Avignon valley, onto the planes around Mont Ventoux and les Dentelles de Montmirail. The area was made famous by the writer Frederic Mistral, and is also a landmark in the Tour de France cycling event, besides being a historical town that was used as a stopover for journeys from Rome to Avignon. Other things to note Please note that guests are required to take care of appropriate rubbish disposal during and at the end of their stay. The rules are set by the local authorities and are strictly enforced (in terms of recyclable items and collection days). The kitchen displays two separate large bins: - recyclable rubbish (paper, plastic packaging, aluminium) is collected in the yellow bags - general rubbish (food waste, non recyclables) is collected in the black bags - glass needs to be collected separately (not in the yellow or black bags) The black bags need to be collected in the large waste containers in the yard and pulled to the main road side on the waste disposal days. The yellow bags need to be dropped to the main roadside on the correct day. Glass needs to be taken to separate collection points, the nearest is opposite the Pernes cemetery. The waste disposal pick up days are: - Tuesday night for the yellow recyclable waste - Wednesday and Sunday nights for general waste Guests who fail to follow these guidelines for waste disposal will incur a cash penalty of 200 euros at check out. We appreciate your collaboration on this matter to maintain the cleanliness of the house. Overall, please treat the house like it's your own and return it in the same condition as you found it. Do not make noise on the terraces, in the house and garden from 9 pm and before 8am so as not to disturb the neighbourhood. Do your dishes before you leave. Remove the linens and place them with the towels in the bathrooms. Do not move furniture or change location. Do not pull the furniture so as not to scratch the tiles and parquet. Strictly no smoking in the house. Do not throw cigarette butts or garbage from the terraces into the garden. Do not invite people outside the rental agreement into the house.
