It's located in the village of Furore, well-known for its friendly residents, its position along the Pathway of the Gods, for its fine wine and much more. A few of the area's beloved country restaurants are in Furore, those special places where you'll find locals and visitors alike. The main floor has a very well-equipped kitchen which flows into a large dining/living area and onto a broad blue-tiled terrace overlooking the stunning view. In the garden adjacent to this main floor is a one-of-a-kind "cottage" with authentic wood-burning oven, cooktop and BBQ. Nearby in the garden is a wood-framed gazebo with beautiful majolica ceramic dining table. There is an ensemble of contemporary outdoor furniture and sun umbrella on the blue terrace, and lounge chairs and sun umbrellas at the pool deck. The villa is in a very advantageous spot in the village, being only 40 steps down from the road, quiet and convenient. On the property itself there are 80 steps through the garden giving direct access to the various levels of the villa. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the villa and property. Guests have access to all common areas, gardens, grounds, pool, and the attached cottage with wood-fire oven. Other things to note If you are planning to visit the Amalfi Coast there are a few things to consider. One is the driving. Most guests are OK renting a car and driving around themselves. Others are not. Villa dei Signori is in a very convenient location. The local bus stop is 30 meters up the road which takes you to Amalfi Village in less than 20 minutes. From there, the public boats and buses take you anywhere in the region, including Capri. Having a rental car is somewhat more convenient and can be parked, for free, on the road above. If necessary, parking is available in the municipal lot for a small hourly fee. Whether you rent a car or not, you can take advantage of the private car services - not only for airport and rail station transfers but also for short or longer hops and excursions along the Coast.
