Comfortable Guest House on our 32-acre family farm located next to a picturesque Amish area. Nearby parks and access to recreational activities along the Tennessee River -- hiking, swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. Loretta Lynne's Restaurant/Event Park - 30min. Kitchen for guests to prepare meals and snacks. Guests are welcome to tour the farm. Only one guest group (individual, couple or small group) occupies the Guest House building at any one time, so complete privacy during your stay. The space The Guest House is clean, attractive and comfortable, and has the following features: * Bedroom with Queen-sized bed and memory-foam mattress and pillows. * Alcove room with single-sized fold-out sofa bed and Smart TV. This room opens to the Main Room. * Main Room with single-sized fold-out sofa bed and single-sized folding cot bed. Dinner table seats six. * Kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots, pans, silverware and cooking implements. We supply dish washing soap, but not bath soap, hand soap, shampoo or conditioner. * Free WiFi internet access * Smart TV with free streaming movie channel. Other streaming channels available for Guests who have subscriptions to other streaming services such as NetFlix, Prime, etc. * Washer and Dryer -- available for those Guests staying 3 or more days. * Several Restaurants, a Sandwich Shop, Supermarket, Bank - only 12-minute drive. * Loretta Lynn's Restaurant/Ranch/Museum/Event Park - about 30-minute drive from Guest House. There is a beautiful creek that runs through our property, over 50 feet wide at places, with some deep swimming areas. The water is very clean, and any fish caught may be safely eaten. There are many shallow areas that are safe for young children, but children should always be supervised by an adult. On our farm we keep a small number of livestock -- chickens, cows, sheep, goats, and geese. There is a large organic garden and numerous fruit and nut trees, berries, figs, grapes. Guests are welcome to tour the farm and interact with the animals from behind the fences. The farm is peaceful and quiet, with sounds of the birds and the wind in the trees. From time to time Guests may hear a rooster crowing, geese calling or a cow mooing. Guest access Free parking on the property. There are no buses or taxis in the area. Guests need their own vehicles to get around.
