Come and relax at our family friendly Lake Windermere getaway. This home is perfect for families! Our place has everything you need to make your vacation enjoyable....3 bedrooms that sleeps 8 comfortably, 2 full bathrooms, AC, fireplace, laundry, 2 decks, heated garage, fully stocked kitchen, kids toys & books, just steps from a playground, double sport court, and picnic area, 7-minute walk to private beach at Lake Windermere. The space Rocky Mountain Hideaways has the best of both worlds....privacy plus all the amenities to enjoy a great vacation getaway. It is a place where memories with family and friends are created while being surrounded by the mountains and enjoying the lake life. Rocky Mountain Hideaways is a 1,600 square foot home that is only a 5 to 7-minute walk to a PRIVATE BEACH and lake access at Lake Windermere. The private beach is a 1/4 mile long and has picnic tables to be used at your leisure. Our home is surrounded by natural habitat and there are 2 sport courts, Bocce ball, and a playground only steps away from the house. You will be surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. This home is fully equipped with high speed Wifi, AC, heat, and a fireplace. Kitchen This home has a fully equipped kitchen (propane BBQ, coffee machine, coffee grinder, soda stream, toaster, ninja air fryer, rice cooker, blender, oven, microwave, ice maker, filtered water, grilling tongs, wine opener, full set of knives, kids dishes, wok, all pots, pans, and utensils). There is coffee and tea for you to enjoy. We also keep it stocked with oil and basic spices. Main Floor Floor to ceiling windows which let in all the natural light you could wish for. Start the Jotul fireplace and enjoy a beverage as you stream your favorite movie on the 58" smart-enabled TV. There is a master bedroom with a queen bed and built-in cabinets on the main floor. The bathroom is to die for with an amazing shower (rain shower and body jets). Enjoy a spa-like shower after a long day at the beach! Lower Level The Lower level has 2 full-sized bedrooms and a full bathroom (tub/shower combo) with all the extra linens, towels, and pillows that you will need. The comfy sectional is also a pullout for those late movie nights. There is a 58" smart-enabled TV in the family room; however, if TV is not your jam, maybe a little competition on the air hockey table or one of our many board games is a better fit. There is also tons of books, puzzles, toys, and a lego table for the little ones as well. Sleeping Arrangements Master Bedroom: 1 queen bed Lower Bedroom One: 1 queen bed Lower Bedroom Two: twin over double bunk bed with a pullout twin trundle Family Room: Pullout Sectional Bathrooms There are 2 full bathrooms with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. A hair dryer is also available for your use. Bath towels, beach towels, hand and face towels are also provided. Laundry There is a full-size washer and dryer available for your use. Laundry detergent, stain remover, and dryer sheets are provided. Consumables Please note that we provide a starter supply of consumables (toilet paper, paper towel, coffee etc.) but do not provide refills during the stay. Outdoor Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning on the front patio and enjoy the mountain views. There is also a fire table on the front deck for those late evening nightcaps. The back deck has a patio table and chairs that seats 6 for those family BBQ dinners. You will have access to a heated single garage to securely store your gear and vehicle. Location This home is only 7 minutes away from downtown Invermere, 15 minutes away from Radium Hot Springs and Fairmont, and 25 minutes away from Panorama Ski Resort. There are 8 golf courses accessible within a 20 minute drive from the house. The most convenient ones are The Point (Copper Point) and The Ridge (Copper Point), both being a short 5-minute drive away. Guest access You will have full private use of the home. You also have access to the amenities in the community (sport court, basketball nets, private beach, picnic tables, playground, community library). Guests will be provided with a keypad code prior to their stay to complete self check-in. Other things to note We are a very family friendly home as we know how hard it is to get away with little ones. There are children's dishes, a pack and play, toys, books, Lego table, puzzles, beach towels, beach toys, outdoor picnic blankets and wagon, and so much more. We also have a hotties air dryer for any wet mitts/gloves for those long ski days and an iron and ironing board for those who are attending special events in the Valley. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryer are also available for guests. We want to make your stay with us as easy as possible. It is important to note that we are situated in a family friendly community and many of our neighbors live here full-time. There is a strict noise policy and quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.
