“BURRDENFREE” cabin is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains! If you are looking for a peaceful getaway with family, friends, and couples, this escape is for you! You will experience all four seasons surrounded by luscious trees, wildlife, and beautiful tranquility. The cabin is in a quiet, gated community, perfect for those who love outside activities. Minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, rafting, New River access, local wineries and plenty of activities to fit all needs. The space The 2.25-acre pet-free and personally managed property is nestled in a private area with plenty of parking for the entire family and guests. High-speed fiber internet to meet even the most challenging download demands. The three levels of the living area offer space for peace while allowing the entire group plenty of room for gathering. Each story has a full bedroom, bathroom, smart-televisions for streaming from your favorite service, and plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The 3rd story bedroom features a queen-size adjustable bed, nightstands, dresser, closet w/ hangers, box fan, and smart TV. The loft is a workspace complete with a desk, second screen, office supplies, and a printer, just in case, and a sitting chair to enjoy coffee or a book while looking out over the horizon from the two-story windows. The main living area has a beautiful stone gas log fireplace, smart TV with Youtube TV (cable), apps to stream directly from your favorite streaming services, a leather couch, a loveseat, and a recliner, perfect for gathering as a family or lounging. The dining area seats six, with 2 bar stools at the counter. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials needed, including spices, to allow you to prepare any meal or experiment with new recipes. Continuing on the main floor is the primary Bedroom and Bathroom. The primary bedroom features a sleep number bed with feet warmer, allowing you to maximize your comfort for all seasons, nightstands, dresser, closet w/hangers, 55-inch TV with Youtube TV (cable) and apps for all of your streaming service needs, and private access to the Master Bath with an extra-large, tile shower. The downstairs area is designed for the teens and kids to escape. The couch, loveseat, and smart TV W/ HDMI cable hookup make it a perfect place to plug and play and YouTube TV (cable). Additionally, it has many board games for those "old school" game nights. This bedroom has a queen-sized bed with reading lights, a nightstand, dresser, closet w/ hangers, and box fan, and for those who seek a little adventure, a set of bunk beds includes a full on the bottom and twin on top. This bedroom also has a full bathroom and access to the lower deck for continued relaxation. The last room in this area is the laundry room, with a new washer and dryer, detergent, and dryer sheets. Our community is quiet and peaceful and is best suited for families or couples. We do ask all guests to respect our neighbors. There is plenty of area to explore throughout the neighborhood, including a trail to the river, an Indian Cave, a community pond, and river access. We do have cameras on the property that overlook the driveway, covered porch areas, and surrounding the property. We use this to provide additional security when the cabin is not occupied. Guest access The entire cabin is accessible for the guests. Our cabin has a large front area which is yours to fully enjoy. Guests have direct access to the New River via the common area, with two “put-in” areas for kayaks, tubes, etc. The river access is located within the community. Other things to note There is absolutely no smoking allowed inside the cabin and due to allergies, no pets of any kind are allowed inside or outside of the house. Please note that smoking is allowed outside the cabin, however you are in the wilderness, and it is your responsibility to manage your discarded ashes and butts. Additional charges will be incurred if clean up outside is required. Additional Notes: - Repeat guests returning to Burrden-free can receive a 10% discount. - Our cabin has a well-stocked kitchen with all utensils needed to cook meals. - The cabin is well stocked with toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent, laundry soap, paper towels, hand soap, hair dryers, and some makeup remover cloths. - Firewood is furnished for the fire pit along with chairs. - Towels and linens will be provided for you. - Please observe a quiet hour of 10PM as there are full time residents in the community. - The roads leading to this home are all paved including the driveway to the cabins gravel parking area. The community provides snow and ice removal during winter weather but is not guaranteed. The weather in the mountain can be unpredictable and cause delays in clearing the roads, but historically they do an excellent job clearing during weather events and general maintenance of the roads.
