Location Little villages dot the hillsides between the mountains and the sea and there is an excellent choice of tavernas to be found with a little exploration. There are also many small beaches to discover in this area all with soft gently shelving sand. Argostoli itself is an easy 15 mins drive and worth the trip for a walk along the harbour side and a little window shopping. The leafy square is a great place to stop for a coffee at one of the cafes and there are some excellent tavernas around the town.
