You will feel worlds away on these two rolling acres, yet close to restaurants, shops, trails, recreation and beauty! The sunroom is the crowning glory of the cabin; there are large windows all around that make you feel like you are outside in the snow, yet stay warm and cozy inside. You can snuggle on the soft rug in front of the fireplace, and have fresh sparkling water at the fountain. The cabin boasts cedar paneled walls, a stone staircase, a coffee/tea bar, and a kitchen to prepare meals. Our home is set up for a sweet, private get-away for couples. You can snuggle together in the Sunroom on a reclining love seat and watch the falling snow, wildlife, or the stars through the skylight ceiling. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and it's own coffee bar ... if it's warm enough or you bundle up, you can enjoy morning coffee on the bedroom's balcony. The kitchen is ready for you to prepare meals. There are two televisions with Hulu, games, books, and magazines to keep you entertained ... not to mention the visits by elk and deer! You will have a county maintained, paved road from the interstate to the cabin. We highly recommend 4WD during snow, and snow tires are preferred. Even though the county is great and quick to clear our road, you could be driving here before the plows get here. There is parking at your entrance. The whole house and grounds are for your enjoyment. The hosts live in the Mother-in-Law suite which is attached to the house, but there is a sound barrier between the two places. Guests rarely see the hosts unless they are needed. We live on the property in the Mother-in-Law quarters (converted garage), but unless you need us, you probably won't see us. The cabin has a guidebook with all the information you will need from restaurant suggestions to 'where do I find the ...?' We will send you a keypad code when your stay is close. We are nestled in a wooded area with ample privacy, yet close to hiking and biking trails, fishing, skiing, quaint mountain shops and restaurants. The cabin is only about a three-minute drive from I-70, yet feels like a world apart. Our entire area is wooded with rolling hills. Our cabin is only a three-minute drive from the interstate, and is paved and well maintained by the county. During the winter, it is highly suggested that you use a 4WD vehicle. You could be arriving before the plows do. We have a short driveway that we have plowed, but again, we wait on our plowman. We want you to make wonderful memories here. Please leave clean up to us. Leave the dishes in the sink, we will take care of the trash and recycles, and we will take care of all the linens. You just come and enjoy your stay. There is no cleaning fee ... just have a sweet time!
