Enjoy gorgeous sunsets from our year-round home on one of Northern Michigan's finest lakes. This unique year-round cabin provides privacy on a 1/2 acre wooded lot in a quiet residential setting. 100 ft. of lake frontage. The perfect "Up North" getaway any time of year! *Weekly only Jun-Aug from Sat - Sat. The space This knotty-pine cottage/ cabin includes two bedrooms with queen beds, living room with two sofa beds (one queen and one twin), dining nook with table, full kitchen, full bathroom with shower and storage and spacious laundry room with a new washer and dryer. A stone wood-burning fireplace with insert provides additional heat and ambiance in the winter. Outside is an outdoor table with six chairs, private deck with seating located half way down the stairs to the lake, fire pit and hammock. We provide wood for indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. 40-foot dock with swim platform is in from June - September. Please note that the stairs to the lake are not maintained in the winter, and there are approximately 30 stairs down to the lake from the backyard. Guest access Quiet residential neighborhood. Private driveway with plenty of parking for two vehicles plus a boat trailer. Other things to note We include quality bed linens and bath towels. Our kitchen is fully appointed and includes everything you need to prepare meals. The home is professionally cleaned and sanitized between bookings. If cooking isn't your thing, there is a year-round restaurant located 1.5 miles away with many offerings. More restaurants and breweries are a short drive away. Dock is in from June- September and includes a swim platform with stairs to enter the lake easily. Dock is 40' and includes a manual lift for a small boat (up to 2,000 lbs). Paddleboards and life jackets available. Shore is rocky so water shoes are recommended. Kayaks are available, please inquire if you are interested. Dogs are welcome (limit two up to 75 lbs). But MUST be kept on a leash when outside. There is a neighborhood pathway to the lake next door to us, and dogs next door, so please keep dogs leashed. 2 Paddle-boards, 2 kayaks, paddles and lifejackets available for use at no additional cost. There are exterior security cameras in use when the property is vacant. (No cameras are located inside.) The exterior cameras are turned off while guests occupy the premises.
