In the kitchen you’ll find a Brita water pitcher as well as a full service coffee bar complete with coffee grounds, creamer, and sugars. There are pots, pans, basic spices, silverware, plates, bowls, etc. in the kitchen all available for your use. Step into the living room and you’ll find a flatscreen TV with basic Cable and Netflix, an adorable photo wall, a wood burning fireplace, and a comfy couch to kick back and relax on. There is a newly added cocktail table video game machine with over 4,000 classic video games to choose from. You’ll also find games like Monopoly, Uno, and Scrabble, plus a full size, arcade-style pinball machine! Our back deck is a great place to hang out at and look at the stars on our cozy outdoor sectional, or enjoy the propane fire pit at the outdoor dining table. Go grab some charcoal and have a summer evening BBQ with the family using the grill. String lights are featured along the entire back deck to make the evenings even more magical :) Our bedrooms are thoughtfully decorated with trendy cabin decor. Every bed is complete with crisp white linens and a full set of plush bath linens are provided for each guest. Bedroom 1: California King bed + Full size bed (room sleeps 4). This bedroom also has a large comfy bean bag. Bedroom 2: California King bed + Twin bunk bed (room sleeps 4) I provide a digital guidebook containing information on the cabin and giving you ideas and recommendations to help you make the most out of your vacation. Guest access Self check-in with smart lock. Code will be sent to you on the first day of your reservation. Other things to note Please review the house rules prior to booking your stay. There will be a separate vacation rental agreement to sign after booking. Please note that there are stairs to get down to the property. Please be careful and use the hand railing, especially if wet or icy outside. Seasonal Lake Access: Enjoy access to Twain Harte Lake, a members-only lake open from May 24th to September 2nd. It's just 0.8 miles from the cabin. There is an $10 per guest entry fee (ages 3 and up), collected at the gate. Admission can be limited, especially during holidays, so we recommend arriving early. Please be sure to follow all lake rules. Winter Information: By booking your stay during the months of November-April, you are aware that our cabin is in a mountainous area and may experience snow. We are one of the lucky residential streets in Twain Harte that gets snow plowed; our road as well as the main road that it is connected to both get snow plowed by the county during the winter. However, keep in mind that we have no control over when the snow plow comes or how often, and we cannot guarantee that it will be plowed at the time of your stay. Snow will not be removed from the actual property grounds (driveway, stairs, front/back decks, yards), but there is a snow shovel available for your use if needed. Please keep in mind that the back deck does not have an overhang and may not be usable during the winter months. In icy/snowy conditions, we recommend using the South side to enter and exit Ponderosa Dr. (the side closest to the 108 highway), as the other side is a steep hairpin turn. Chains may be required, so please check local conditions before your stay. Power outages can occur in winter and are beyond our control. While we can't offer refunds for outages, if one lasts over 12 hours, you’ll have the option to end your stay early and receive a refund for the remaining nights. There are battery powered lanterns, extra blankets available, and a fireplace + wood available for your use should a power outage occur during your stay. Location: The cabin is located on a quiet residential street. However, our large backyard does back up to one of the main roads in the small town of Twain Harte (Twain Harte Drive), so you may hear some "street noise" during your stay. We have dual pane windows to help minimize the noise.
