Enjoy open water views all the way to the Jetties, layout on the chaise lounges as you watch the barges come in and out of the port, look for dolphins playing in the surf, or just enjoy people watching. Bliss is a one story beach house that exudes a chill, comfortable vibe. Every detail has been specifically thought of with the astute vacationer in mind. We don't want you to like our home, we want you to LOVE it- so much so that you book your return stay before you even leave. We want you to walk in and know you made the right choice by choosing Bliss! BEDROOMS Couples and small families traveling together will love the privacy of the two primary suites with full ensuite baths. Additionally, a large full bathroom with walk in shower is just steps away from the third bedroom. The largest primary has a king sized bed (new Sealy Silver Chill Plush), fresh linens, a reading nook, and a large closet for organizing all of your things. This room has plenty of room to setup the pack and play (provided for your convenience) for your infant. An infant bathtub is located in the large master closet for your use as well. Stream your favorite shows from the privacy of your bedroom, read a good book, or wash the day's sand and sun away in the large walk in shower. Two large windows allow for nice natural light during the day. See the ocean from your bathroom window! The second primary has a queen-sized bed with a new Nectar mattress, a small tv for streaming, and a tub/shower combination great for the littles you bring to the beach! There is a small dresser to keep your clothes organized. Enjoy a great beach view from your large window. The third bedroom has a very zen feel, a comfy queen-sized bed to snuggle into, and crisp white linens. Stream a movie on the tv, read a book in bed, or watch the ocean waves from your large window. Take two small steps across the hall to rinse the days cares away in the ample bathroom with large walk in shower. LIVING SPACE The open floor living space means never being left out of the fun! Cook in the spacious, well appointed kitchen while chatting with friends and family in the living and dining rooms. Meal prep is easy with the large granite counter space/bar area. This multifunctional space can accommodate several diners or laptops! The well appointed kitchen with new stainless steel appliances is set up to make cooking a breeze- With plenty of cabinets, counter space, and a dedicated pantry. Basic spices, oil, coffee, and starter paper goods/plastic bags make getting to the fun quicker and easier. You will find two coffee machines for your liking- as a great cup of joe sets the stage for a great day in our opinion. Please read the house manual for more information on the coffee bar. The dining room has a large wood table that seats 8. It serves as a great place to play games, eat the latest catch, or work from your laptop. A Staycation is easy here as there is ample space and plenty of fast WIFI to support additional laptops on the large eat at bar as well. Speaking of WIFI, stream your favorite shows or movies from the large smart tv in the living room. Settle in for an evening of streaming with two really comfy couches/daybed and two large recliners to choose from. The daybed couch is my kids favorite place to hang and watch tv or play their handheld games. This daybed serves a comfy couch by day, and a twin sized bed by night. WIFI and TV We have fast, reliable internet from Xfinity/Comcast. (Storms may interrupt service from time to time, and we are not in control of loss of service). All tvs have smart streaming capabilities. Bring your sign in information to access Netflix, Prime, and all of your favorite channels in the bedrooms. The family room tv has free Youtube TV for your enjoyment- see the house manual for more information about tvs, remotes, and programming. OUTDOOR SPACE Bliss has NO stairs to contend with. Access the house via a ramp, making movement of luggage, groceries, and beach gear no issue! Under the house accommodate up to four vehicles. Grill up your favorite dinner on the provided charcoal grill, while friends and family relax in one of the hammock swings. Eat outdoors at the picnic table, sit and visit, or play games under the beautiful string lights. Walk halfway up the ramp and find another great deck with fantastic views! Watch the waves come in from one of two large couches while sipping your favorite cocktail! Walk up the ramp to the top deck and WOW! You have to see it to fully appreciate the magnitude of this view. You can see all the way to the jetties, where the cargo ships go in and out. You can literally watch your guests on the beach from the comfort of your deck. This deck is partial shade and partial sun to accommodate travelers of all likings. Deck chairs, a glider, and two chaise loungers await. AMENITIES Traveling with kids: We aim to provide as much as we can that alleviates packing and travel stress. Traveling with baby is a breeze with provided outlet covers, under sink cabinet with child locks, a pack and play with sheets, and an infant bathtub. Bathing older kids is simple in the full tub/shower combo in the second master, with no tears shampoo located under the bathroom sink. Find an abundance of sand toys in the wicker storage table on the lower deck. There is ample sand to play in under the house, or walk a few steps to the beach. The provided cart makes taking your gear to the beach a snap. All showers have stocked shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers. Each bathroom has hand soap, towels, and starter toilet paper. Bed linens are provided, as are bath towels and beach towels. Each bedroom has ample closet space and/or dressers for easy storage of your personal items. Forget a toothbrush? Cotton swabs?- take from our "forgot it jars" in one of the bathrooms. Enjoy starter coffee K cups, or bring your favorite ground coffee for brewing in the drip coffee maker. Sugar, stevia, creamer, and special flavorings make your morning java a tasty start to your day. Open the pantry door for access to starter spices like salt, garlic, and oil and more. Have groceries delivered to your door and organize and store them in the pantry. The kitchen is stocked with dinnerware, pots and pans, and small appliances. Provided bed linens, throw blankets, beach towels, and bath towels mean less packing for you. Beach towels and extra blankets are in the drawer under the family room tv. Our house and linens are cleaned and sanitized for a worry free trip. All mattresses and pillows are encased for health and sanitary assurance. No pets means no allergens to worry about. Beach gear like chairs, a cart, and sand toys are provided for your enjoyment. Please bring your own shade for the beach, and store it under the house. Fast WIFI makes streaming and working a breeze. Bring your logins, laptops, and game consoles! Guest access You will get remote access instructions a few days before check in. Please be watching for a text invitation to download the lock app or use your keypad code. Free parking on site for up to four vehicles. You can drive your car onto the beach- get a beach pass for just $12 at any convenience store or at one of the beach entry points. See our Guide book for information on renting golf carts, surf boards and the like. Other things to note Surf side is a great little village, but the water is not as great. The city is working g diligently on the water system. It is fine to bathe in but not to consume. Please bring your own drinking water. If you want to refill water jugs, see Guide Book for information on free RO water at the municipal building on Pedestrian beach. We get our water refills from the stand alone RO unit right next to Surfin Ritas. Bring your own sun shade and sunscreen. First Aide kit is in the cabinet above the stove. The Fire extinguisher is under the kitchen sink. There are several emergency lights plugged in to outlets around the house in case of power outage. Please return them if you use them. Our neighborhood is safe. Just remember that the beach draws lots of people so keep your belongings secure and the door locked when you are away. Outdoor security cameras are on premises.
