The Gîte by the Forest

The Gîte au bord de la Forêt will allow you to recharge your batteries with family or friends in the heart of the Ardennes massif. This house of character in local stone has been completely renovated for your comfort. In an enchanting setting, lulled by birdsong and the wind in the trees, come and breathe the pure and invigorating air of the Ardennes, come and take walks that will enchant young and old to discover a lush nature that is constantly evolving over the seasons... The space On the ground floor, the modern and ultra-equipped kitchen is at the center of the house. Two large tables that can accommodate up to fifteen guests will bring family and friends together around a good meal. On the left, a large living room with a functional fireplace will allow some to read quietly by the fire while others play pool. On the right, a large room to entertain you: foosball, darts, library, table to meet around a board game. Enough to spend unforgettable moments! Upstairs, four bedrooms are equipped with double beds while two other bedrooms are equipped with single or bunk beds. All to allow 13 people to have a well-deserved rest after all the activities of the day. Note that upon arrival, the beds will be made (linens and towels are provided and included in the price). So, you just have to settle in and enjoy :-)... As for the bathrooms, there is a modern bathroom (sink and walk-in shower) and an independent toilet per floor. Outside, you can enjoy a large terrace, a petanque court, a ping-pong table in the hagar, a garden and a small pond beautifully arranged. The house is overlooked by a Finnish bath (5 to 6 hours to heat the water, but it's really worth the wait!) and a sauna (wood). What could be better to recover after a nice walk? Guest access The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing, so you can get around on foot, by bicycle or by car. Private parking in front of and on the side of the house can accommodate up to six cars. Other things to note The Finnish bath is the Christmas gift :-)
