The space The Owl's Nest is an authentic log cabin with a soaring open floor plan, perfect for gatherings and oozing quintessential rustic, yet luxurious charm. All the bedrooms are private and well equipped for a quiet escape when needed. The 3 glorious acres allow for recreation galore. The huge flat lot is perfect for families to spread out, play corn-hole and other games, explore the creeks, be mesmerized by the fog rolling off the hills, tell stories in the rocking chairs, and immerse yourself in nature. The property sits off a main road which provides unbelievable access to stores, recreation and restaurants. No winding roads or chains on your tires required!! It couldn't be easier to get to. The Ecusta Trail sits directly behind the property and will make your trip exceptional! It is a multi use path for bikers, walkers, and explorers. You can access restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, a gem mine and more. The trail is currently 6 miles long and connects downtown Hendersonville to Horseshoe. The interior of the cabin will envelop you with comfort and class as you sit around the stacked stone fireplace and prepare meals in the open kitchen and dining space. The sunroom offers a respite for those that want to read, nature watch or play games.There are three private bedrooms downstairs, including a sunken primary suite completely in its own wing of solitude. All bedrooms have beautiful windows that offer glimpses of the lush outdoors. The primary offers a large bathroom with an enormous jacuzzi tub, double sinks and stone shower. Upstairs you will find a recreation space to die for with an additional lounging TV area, game and poker table and pool table. The pitched wood beamed ceilings will take your breath away. Also upstairs is a second primary (4th bedroom) with two decadent queen beds, an electric fireplace, TV, a gorgeous beamed window feature and private bath. There is literally no better home that encompasses convenience and a true mountain feeling experience for the whole family. You'll never want to leave! Guest access The Owl's Nest might be the most convenient luxury rental imaginable. It is a mere 5 miles from the highway and 2 miles from downtown Hendersonville. However right out of the driveway is Laurel Park with its own restaurants and grocery store so everything is right at your fingertips! The approach from the highway is mostly flat and is a direct shot. There are no worries about steep inclines or lack of accessibility. There is a long gravel entrance with a dense tree line separation that provides a wonderful set back from the road. Given the size of the property, there are parking spaces galore and even 2 covered spots under the carport. Other things to note The Ecusta Trail is directly behind the property (and is the reason we purchased the property in the first place :). The grand opening was in July 2025 and it has been a huge hit. The path is multi use and paved to accommodate walkers, bikers, and more. You can access restaurants, coffee shops, breweries and even a gem mine within minutes. The trail begins in downtown Hendersonville and currently traverses through Laurel Park and on to Horseshoe. It will eventually connect all the way to downtown Brevard. Guests can bring bikes or rent them from a local bike shop such as Venture Ecusta. Sometimes we simply enjoy sitting on the deck and waving at cyclists. The camaraderie among trail goers is simply inspirational. We've all waited a long time to see it come to fruition.
