Pierre/Fort Pierre has several good restaurants including Drifters, the Spur, Mad Mary’s, Red Rosa, the Branding Iron Bistro, and Ritchie Z’s or go north of town to find the Gray Goose or up to Spring Creek. Free parking onsight. There is a path across the Highway on the land along the river that people use for horse riding, bicycling, atvs or walking. The house has wi-fi but more importantly the property is convenient for boating or hiking at Farm Island State Park, fishing on Lake Oahe, Hipple Lake or the Missouri River, golfing at Hillsview, hunting throughout the area or enjoying the “Christmas at the Capitol” from Thanksgiving through Christmas. There is easy access since it is located on SD -34, a main highway.
