The Bluebird Basecamp is convenient to Denver, Boulder, Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Longmont United Hospital, Downtown Longmont, and more. Private, quiet, with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, two comfortable living rooms, a beautiful vintage kitchen with the cookware you will need, a fun throwback wet bar area with a foosball table, fenced yard with mature trees, grill, ample parking - even for larger RVs. The Bluebird Basecamp will not only be comfortable for your family or group, but also a memorable experience in Colorful Colorado. The location will give you a central starting point to get to the best of Colorado's scenery, outdoor activities, shopping, dining, and our historic town. The main level has a great room including dining table (seats 6-10), a small kitchen desk, restored vintage kitchen, main bedroom with a queen and a full bed with attached half bathroom room, a 2nd bedroom with twin bed and handy trundle twin bed, full bathroom with shower/tub and large vanity, and a large 3rd bedroom with queen bed and its own desk. Head through the kitchen to access the downstairs, which also has a door you to shut if you need to keep little ones or pups safely upstairs. Please note, there is currently no dishwasher. The lower level has a peaceful bedroom with desk, hall bath with shower, laundry room, large family room with sectional sofa and smart tv, a restored vintage wet bar which has a small sink and mini fridge, and the foosball table! There is a garage to store your outdoor gear and perhaps park a car. The yard has a fenced in area for your dog (there is a $15 per night per dog fee, max 2 dogs) or play time, and a sunroom with couch and table in case you would like to gather outside yet be protected from weather. Check for apples on the backyard tree if you are staying in the fall! There is plenty of driveway parking. While you may park your RV in the driveway, guests are not permitted to stay in the camper overnight. We provide clean, comfortable bedding and all the basics you need such as hand soap, dish soap, laundry soap and towels. Please note, we do not provide personal/body care products We are happy to answer any questions you might have in regards to what is provided or see how we can best accommodate you. Please read on to see more details. We have two driveways with plenty of off street parking. There is a 1-car attached garage which could house a compact car or your gear. You can park your RV in the main driveway, but only for parking. It is against the rules to 'camp' in your RV at the property. Thanks We can be reached 24 hours a day incase of any issues with the house. Quiet neighborhood just a few short blocks to Main Street, Longmont, only 1.25 mi to Longmont United Hospital, and easy access to the mountains, Rocky Mountain National Park, I-25 to Denver and I-70, Highway 119 to Boulder, Highway 66 to Lyons. Mature trees, historic homes, sidewalks, food delivery, and dog friendly. We welcome your well behaved dog (up to 2) for an additional nightly fee, and additional agreement. You will need to agree to our Rules and let us know in advance if you plan to bring your dog (maximum 2 dogs). There are nice sidewalks to enjoy and many parks nearby, including big off leash dog parks and kid friendly playgrounds. Longmont has plenty of quality dining and shopping you can enjoy. We are happy to make recommendations. There is plenty of driveway parking for your vehicles. Bikes can be stored in the garage. Most of the quality eateries and shopping are south of 9th street. It is a few blocks to walk to Main Street on 15th. Here in Colorado we love a good snow! We will be providing you with snow shovels and salt you can use to clear your path to the door and cars, and we will send someone to help asap if the snow if over 3". We cannot guarantee the arrival time of this handy person, but please know we will do our best to get them there as early as we can. Additionally, we have no control over big storms and how they may affect your travels. We do not offer refunds due to weather. We still have to prepare for our next guests even if it is the biggest storm of the year so you still have to leave at your scheduled departure date and time. We will do our best to accommodate you if we possibly can. This is standard throughout snow country. Please consider a four wheel drive vehicle in the winter in case it snows.
