It features an amazing game room/living room with cathedral ceilings, skylights, gas fireplace, bar seating, pool table, shuffleboard/bowling table, dart board, four bedrooms + sleeper sofa, full kitchen, spa-like bathrooms, in-unit washer/dryer, and private deck. GUESTS = 8 MAX This beautiful apartment has been recently updated with new furnishings and completely renovated kitchen and spa-like bathroom on the 2nd floor and everything on the 3rd floor is brand new in 2022. 2 N D F L O O R : • Large dining room with seating for eight & cabinet w/ games & guides to area attractions • Sleeps 5: Main bedroom has queen bed. Second bedroom has twin bed w/ trundle & dresser. Cabinets stocked with ground coffee, creamer, sugar, basic spices, pots/pans, cooking utensils, dinnerware, glasses and silverware. Full bathroom: The bathroom has a walk-in shower with rain shower head and hand shower, wood-look ceramic wall tile and LED multi-color lighting for a spa-like ambiance. 3 R D F L O O R : This apartment has a private entrance on the 2nd floor which leads to a stair to the apartment. It has its own central heating and air conditioning system that guests control. Sleeps 4 people. T H E G A M E R O O M Upon coming up the stair, you will enter the main space into a large game room / living room. Games include an 8 foot pool table, a 9 foot shuffleboard table that also has a bowling game, and a traditional dart board. There will also be board games available. There is a bar counter with seating and next to that is the living area with a full sofa, (2) reclining chairs, gas fireplace and large screen, high definition smart TV which will have the major internet streaming options. B E D R O O M 1 The front bedroom has cathedral ceilings with wood beams, a queen bed, ceiling fan, desk & chair with HD internet TV above, and a walk-in closet. The windows face the quiet, tree-lined residential street. B E D R O O M 2 The rear bedroom has (2) twin beds, cathedral ceilings, ceiling fan, and a walk-in closet. The windows face the back yard and residential homes across the alley. K I T C H E N E T T E Includes a sink, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. P A R K I N G : The unit comes with one free off-street parking space at the rear of the property. If you have more than one vehicle, you can park on the street on the next block south for free for up to 3 nights. Then there is a $7 per night charge from the Village of Oak Park. HOUSE RULES P R I V A T E K E Y C O D E A C C E S S You will be given your own private access code to the main entrance door at the first floor which leads to the shared staircase. This code will also open the door at the 2nd floor which leads up to the game room level. We live in the apartment below the rental unit, so we are readily available for any questions that come up. We are also available by phone or text The house is in a beautiful, tree-lined residential street with mostly single family homes. You can park on the street during weekdays from 10:00am until 2:00am. Otherwise, you should park in the free parking space in the back to avoid getting a ticket. The CTA Blue Line train is a quick 4 minute walk from the house and gets you to downtown Chicago in about 25 minutes. Uber and Lyft are both available on the area or you can call Blue Cab Company if you need a taxi. If you have any physical limitations, you may want to consider that the apartment is on the 2nd floor and 3rd floors. There are stairs to the main entry door, and then 2 flights of stairs to the top floor.
