Les Chouettes, Large modern barn conversion

Les Chouette (4 star) is one of our cottages formed from renovating barns along an ancient farmstead courtyard, which provides light airy accommodation. Open plan living is provided downstairs with the kitchen open to the dining room, a large sitting room with wood burner making your stay convivial. There are three bedrooms upstairs as well as a double downstairs. Your terrace at the side gives you a certain amount of privacy with it's hanging baskets and wisteria. Sleeps 8-10 people. The space Les Chouettes is very large providing space for a large family or two families to stay together without being on top of each other. It normally sleeps 8 but we can easily add two extra single beds. The exposed limestone wall downstairs gives character and in the spring, autumn and winter the wood burner gives extra ambience. There are beds set up for 8 people. We can provide up to 2 extra single beds if there are more in your group. Guest access You will share access through the courtyard, parking in the large barn which keeps your car cool in the summer. You will also have full use of the large shared gardens at the back with BBQ terrace, table tennis, boules court, badminton, croquet, large heated outdoor swimming pool with sunbeds (available mid may to early September), toilet facilities, a small cabin for children, swings, terrace at the end of the garden to have an aperitif and watch the sun go down on the forest and fields behind, clothes drying area hidden by trellis of honeysuckle..... Other things to note There is so much on offer in this area, that more often than not, our guests state they seem to have the pool to themselves as other families are out experiencing other activities. At the same time, especially outside of July and August, you may find you have the run of the grounds to yourself! Registration Details 10 MS 09 11
