Walking distance to University of Utah, bus stop across the street, 30 minute drive to top ski resorts. Gateway to 5 National Parks, 40 State Parks. 15 minute drive to airport. The space Ground level entrance (28 inches wide) opens onto a tree shaded patio with outdoor seating and garden overlooking a canyon gully. Path to entrance has 2 sets of 3 steps. Inside is 720 square feet. Furnishings include some fun and interesting antiques. Pack'n Play travel crib is available for a baby under 2 years. Kitchen is well equipped with stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer and ice maker, blender, Keurig coffee maker, cook ware, utensils, dishes and breakfast items. Laundry room is shared. Free tennis court 1/2 block away. Nearby sports complex has indoor & outdoor swimming pools, hot tub, gym, fitness rooms & ice rink. Within walking distance of the University of Utah Stadium & Campus. Public transit bus stops in front of our house. Guest access Self check-in. A code number is given in advance which unlocks the private entrance door. Path to the door has motion activated lights at night, and has two sets of 3 steps. Washer/dryer & laundry supplies are available on site by request. Use of trampoline requires a signed release. Other things to note PARKING: As a courtesy to our neighbors, please park your vehicle on the street at the curb east of our driveway. SECURITY: There are security cameras on the front of the house, the side and back yards, so give us a smile. There are no cameras inside the apartment. WIFI ACCESS: It’s the new high speed Gigabyte Fiber Optic Internet Cable. Please, no illegal downloading or streaming TV: Living Room is Amazon Fire Stick cable. TV: Bedroom is access to all local channels including some radio stations. PULL-OUT BED FEE: $30 per stay. Must be requested in advance and host prepared. HEAT & COOL: Central heating and air-conditioning is set for 69 degrees day & 65 degrees night. Close the vents if you need less heat or cooling; a portable room heater is in the closet. LAUNDRY: is a shared facility, and access is happily given by your request. Additional towels and sheets, if needed, are in the closet at the end of the hall. PATIO: Backyard patio is for your use but is also a shared space including occasional racoons, deer, squirrels, quail, dogs, cats, & grandchildren. Firepit can be used on green air pollution days. Use of side patio and grill can be arranged by request. TRAMPOLINE USE: A release must be signed before using the trampoline. For safety, only one person jumps at a time. NEVER do anything you wouldn’t want to explain to the paramedics! VISITORS: are welcome within reason, but no overnight additions above the reserved number. No parties. Noise from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM should be minimal. NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND, NO USE OF ILLEGAL DRUGS, NO CANDLES, NO BURNING THE HOUSE DOWN. NO PETS: We do not accept pets unless special arrangements have been made for one required service animal and approved by the host at time of booking. CLEAN UP: Leave everything in good order and where it was when you arrived. If you use the sofa pull-out bed, leave it open. Do not strip sheets from bed(s); leave used pillows & shams on the bed. Place all used toweling from bathroom and kitchen in the hamper located in the hall. Wash all dishes, utensils & pans you have used, and leave them in the drain rack. Yes, the dishwasher is you! DAMAGE: If you break a glass, I’ve got spares. If you break a mirror, then we have to talk. These are not specific items, but you get the general idea. CHECK-OUT TIME: 11:00 AM, and don't forget to text or otherwise say goodbye.
