Here's what you can look forward to during your stay: - Our charming abode features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 2 lovely decks for you to unwind and soak up the surroundings. - Convenient and hassle-free parking is available right in front of the property, accommodating up to 2 vehicles. - Prepare delicious meals in our fully equipped kitchen, which comes stocked with all the essentials you'll need. - Relax and enjoy your favorite shows and movies on the impressive 65-inch smart TV in the living room. Each bedroom is also equipped with its own TV, all offering access to popular streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, and more. - Stay connected with fast WiFi, provided by our reliable G Nest Router. Please keep in mind that due to the mountainous location, the connection may not be 100% reliable at all times. - For a small fee of $10 per guest per day, you'll have access to the Pool, Spa, Tennis courts, Gym, and Hot Tub. Towel rentals are available at just $2 per towel per day. - While it's a 10-minute walk to the village (although not ideal during winter), fear not! We offer a convenient, on-demand seasonal shuttle service right in front of the condo. Upon booking, we'll provide you with more detailed information on how to utilize this service. - Downtown Truckee is just a short 10-15 minute drive away, offering a charming and vibrant experience. - You'll be pleased to know that the breathtaking Lake Tahoe and its vibrant casinos are just 20 minutes away, allowing for unforgettable adventures. - Cozy up next to the wood-burning fireplace, complete with a convenient gas starter for your convenience. - Kindly take a moment to read the additional details provided in the description section for important information. - Although this is not ski-in/out, Northstars offer a swift and convenient free shuttle service. The shuttle stop is a mere 1-minute walk from the condo, easily accessible through an app. It typically takes 5 to 10 minutes for the shuttle to arrive and a quick 1 to 2 minutes to reach the village. - Please note that there is no air conditioning available, but the refreshing mountain breeze keeps the condo comfortably cool. - The freezer includes an ice-maker for your convenience. - Stay in control of the temperature with the Nest thermostat, ensuring your comfort throughout your stay. - To enhance your stay, each room is equipped with a humidifier, promoting a pleasant atmosphere. - Breathe easy knowing that we have three air purifiers placed throughout the condo. - Additionally, my G Home assistant is at your service, providing further convenience and assistance. Convenience awaits you with free parking right in front of the condo, providing easy access to your temporary abode. No need to worry about long walks or hauling your belongings. As you ascend the outer staircase, you'll enter the first floor, where two inviting bedrooms await. One features a comfortable queen bed, ample storage space for your luggage, and even a private balcony to enjoy. The second bedroom is a delightful haven for up to 4 kids, with two bunk beds and a selection of children's books. A full bathroom is also conveniently located on this floor. Throughout the house, you'll find exposed wooden beams, wooden furnishings, and charming decor crafted from up-cycled skis and snowboards, enhancing the enchanting ski cabin ambiance. On the second floor, you'll discover the heart of the home. The kitchen, living room, and fireplace create a welcoming space for relaxation and gathering. Step onto the adjacent balcony, where two comfortable Adirondack ski chairs and a space heater await. It's the perfect spot to savor the fresh morning air or indulge in a quiet evening drink. The living room boasts two couches and two chairs, perfectly arranged for enjoying the condo's impressive 65-inch flatscreen smart TV. And during winter skiing adventures, the wood-burning fireplace with a gas starter will surely become a cherished companion. Just beyond the living area, a dining table comfortably seating six (possibly eight if some are kids) invites you to enjoy a sit-down meal or engage in a lively board game night (don't forget to bring your favorites!). The galley-style kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need to cook for yourselves. From coffee tools to wine accessories, I've got you covered. Venture up to the third floor, where the master bedroom awaits. This serene retreat features a luxurious king-size bed, a 50-inch smart TV, and its own bathroom. For those who need to attend to work matters (although I hope that won't be the case during your stay!), there's even a small desk and chair available. In winter, the ski closet on the front porch provides a secure and convenient place to store your skis, boots, and snowboards. You'll find ample uncovered parking in shared parking lots right in front of the condo, and the best part is, it's free! The parking lot is just a few feet away from the property, and although there are a few steps, it's a breeze to reach. You're welcome to park up to 2 vehicles during your stay. There is free parking right in front of the condo. You need to get a parking pass inside the condo, write your name and dates on the pass, and put it inside the car on top of the dash. You can walk to the village; it takes about 10 minutes. Or you can take the free shuttle available during the weekend in summer and all days during the winter. Welcome to my lovely retreat near the Village! While it's not ski-in/out or directly in the Village, it's just a stone's throw away and a quick, convenient ride on our complimentary shuttle. Rest assured, I've taken care of everything to ensure your comfort. Although there's no AC, don't worry, it hasn't been an issue for me or any previous guests. To stay cool during warmer temperatures, simply open the windows at night to let in the refreshing breeze. When the sun rises, just close the windows and blinds. I've provided a powerful fan in the bedroom closet downstairs to help keep you cool if needed. Please keep in mind that the soundproofing between the upper and lower floors is limited. If there are guests upstairs, you might hear footsteps or slight noise. However, I've done my best to mitigate this with carpeting. Just a friendly heads-up! Before you check out, we kindly ask that you load the dishwasher with your dishes. It helps me keep everything tidy for the next guests. When it comes to trash disposal, please keep it inside the condo or properly dispose of it. Leaving garbage outside the bear bins is not allowed due to county regulations, as it can attract bears. We wouldn't want you to be fined $500 or encounter any unexpected furry visitors. Also, please don't leave things with smell in your car for the same reason. To enjoy the Recreation Center amenities, there's an $10 charge per guest per day. You can find the hours of operation on the NPOA info website. It's a great way to relax and unwind during your stay. For security purposes, there's a non-recording video camera as part of the smart lock at the outdoor front entrance. It's solely used by me to remotely monitor access and ensure the well-being of my home and service crew. Rest assured, guests are never recorded or monitored. You'll find an NPOA Guest pass card near the shoe rack or coat hanger. This pass grants you access to the Rec Center for a fee of $10 per person per day. Please take good care of it, as the replacement cost is $100 each. If you have an electric vehicle, there are charging stations near the Village. It's just a 10-minute walk or a convenient ride on the free shuttle. Please note that depending on snowfall, AWD and/or chains are required to drive to Truckee as per Caltrans regulations. Lastly, I regretfully don't have grill access due to Placer County restrictions, even for gas grills. I apologize for any inconvenience. There are some public grills at the Rec Center.
