Bluemont is located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains 10 minutes from Purcellville, VA. We are very close to all of the Western Loudoun attractions and close to the scenic drive to Middleburg, VA. If you love hiking, the Appalachian Trail crosses right there at the top of the mountain. If you’re looking for a laid-back retreat pull up a chair by the pond and enjoy everything property has to offer. Definitely bring a car. The closest large grocery store is ~15 minutes away. There is a small country store just .7 of a mile up Snickersville Turnpike has basic amenities and everything you need to snack on. Guest access Entire property in surroundings Other things to note This is a historic home so be aware of no handrails and low head room on steps. House is near the woods, so wildlife is frequently seen on the property, examples are deer, geese, possums and there are bugs. Internet and TV are on Starlink The TVs are smart TVs so bring your favorite passwords for your apps or use the guest account for free YouTube Great Verizon cell Brand new central heating and cooling system The house is on a modern well on occasion the water filters will need to be changed. We need typically about one hour notice. Normal water usage should not have to worry about needing the filters changed, but from time to time the pressure does drop and we would have to change them. Upon arrival, you will need to turn on the heat or the air to acclimate. For your safety, no swimming in the pond. We are a PET-FRIENDLY rental and charge a minimal pet fee. However, please note that if there is excessive pet hair left on our linens, an automatic $100 fee will be applied. We recommend not allowing your pets on the furniture or bedding. If the comforter and linens are covered in pet hair, they might need to be thrown out completely. We will do everything, we can to assist you so that this is not an issue. Responsible pet owners should have no problems—we travel everywhere with our lab! The reservation must match the guest count at all times with no exceptions!! Children are counted as guests. No Exterior Loud Noise and No Gatherings or Parties of any kind, and no non-registered guests should be one the property at any time. An unregistered guest will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation and trespassing charges. Loudoun County Sheriff’s Department is authorized to remove guests from this property In the event of snow guest may have to clear a path etc. This rental is managed by Waterford Reservations LLC. When booking this property all guests acknowledge that any and all disputes, settlements etc. will solely be made with Waterford Reservations LLC, Air BNB and no others for any reason.
