Bring your bikes or walk along the Camel Trail to Wadebridge, a bird watchers paradise for migrant and estuary birds, or for fish and chips at Ric Stein’s in Padstow and a boat trip around the Puffin Island. This is a perfect location for visits to Tintagal, The Eden Project, tropical gardens and inland mining towns. Newquay is about 18 miles away. There are miles of sandy beaches popular with surfers and swimmers, and excellent golf courses north and south of the estuary. A supermarket and petrol station are only 1.25 miles away.
