Hart tranquil luxury guest house surrounded by art

Set on 2.5 acres of a mix of lush rainforest and bushland, this luxury resort style property will provide a tranquil break away from the hustle and bustle of city life. There are often daily sightings of wallabies and other wildlife, whilst being surrounded by creativity with amazing art and sculpture. 35 mins from Brisbane CBD, 45 min to the Gold Coast, 1.5 hours to the Sunshine Coast. Sirromet Winery is just 10 minutes drive away as is the local Capalaba CBD. The space Owned by renowned artist, David Hart, both he and his wife Christine invite you to enjoy the private guest house, which is a seperate wing to their home, and immerse yourself with inspiration whilst you relax in the beautiful surrounds. The modern two story guest house includes a luxurious comfortable king size bed with flat screen TV, ensuite and large WIR downstairs, whilst the upstairs spacious living room has luxurious quality furnishings. There is a fully fitted out kitchen with plenty of pots and pans, crockery and cutlery, along with a large fridge/freezer, oven, hotplates, microwave, dishwasher and there's also a combi washer/dryer. There's a small BBQ on the top deck. There's a large flat screen TV (with Netflix) for your enjoyment and free WIFI. Optus has great coverage but Telstra is limited. There is a reverse cycle air conditioner for your comfort and fans both upstairs and down. There will be a range of complimentary tea’s for you, chilled 1Lt full cream milk and a Nespresso pod coffee machine for your enjoyment. We include sugar, salt & pepper and a range of condiments for toast. There's a comfortable outdoor setting on the deck where you can relax, have a drink and enjoy the tranquility and wildlife. If you are interested in purchasing a painting or David Hart giftware, we would be happy to make a time to meet David and have a look around his studio, and as a bonus for staying with us we would be happy to offer a 15% discount. The Guest House is most suited for a couple but if you have kids, a couple of airbeds can be placed upstairs in the living room. Sculptures can also be removed to be avoid worrying about potential breakages. The car park is right in front of the guest house and access is via the bedroom downstairs. We have a steep downhill at the entrance of our property and then a crossing of a small creek with a lovely wooden bridge (that is very strong and handles big trucks) so no need to worry. There are lovely gardens where you can feel free to wander around and find the love seat where you can swing and enjoy the gorgeous gardens. There is a resort style heated* swimming pool that you are welcome to use along with a double sized daybed. *only heated from September to April. Guest access Guests can access the entire guest house, the pool and the gardens. The Guest House is completely private and is likely that you wont even see anybody during your stay, unless you would like to of course. The spa is not available to guests but the pool is available to guests in the hours between 8.30am - 4.30pm.
