Here, past and present meet in a warm and vibrant environment. 🌿 Sustainable lifestyle & self-catering On the farm, step by step, a sustainable lifestyle inspired by the principles of permaculture. * Small scale growing of vegetables and berries * Rainwater collection * Natural methods of food storage and resource management We want to inspire a more down to earth and energy efficient way of living – in tune with nature. 🌿 Living close to nature The water is collected from the farm well and used for dishes and sauna. Dishes are done in tubs with biodegradable products. In winter, the cold of nature is used for food storage, and a wooden box is kept outdoors – a simple and sustainable solution from the past. 🌿 Wildlife around the cabin Here you get close to nature for real. * Winter time small birds are fed right outside the window * Squirrels move freely around the cabin * Summertime you can see haunts playing nearby * Swallows build nests in the farm buildings Feel free to follow farm life: 🌿 Insta gram @nattavaaraby Guest access PARKING the CAR In the summer, you can drive up to the cabin and park just outside. During the winter, you park in the designated place on our farm, about 60 meters from the cabin. There is too much snow to drive to the cabin. Other things to note This is a farmhouse to my residential house that is a bit away. Feel free to look at pictures that show what the surroundings look like. It is a quiet location and the cottage has nature and crops close by.
