Other things to note CONSTRUCTION NOISE There is ongoing construction in the neighborhood that may result in occasional daytime noise. We appreciate your understanding and share this in advance so you can fully enjoy your stay and the beauty of Costa Rica. Please note the road passing Casa Estrellas is active as it is a main access for the popular North Guiones area. You will likely experience street noise during your stay. LOCAL QUIRKS | WHAT TO EXPECT Life in Nosara is relaxed and full of charm — but it comes with a few quirks! You may experience dust, bugs, or brief power, water, or internet outages. Construction noise is also possible between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. as the area continues to grow. If reliable internet is essential, consider adding a mobile data plan. Please note that local septic systems don’t allow toilet paper to be flushed — bins are provided. These are normal aspects of life in Costa Rica and outside our control, so refunds aren’t offered for such occurrences. SAFETY & CANCELLATION While we honor our cancellation policy, processing fees are non-refundable for guest-initiated cancellations. Petty theft can occur, so please keep doors locked, valuables secured, and use alarms or security bars when available. A private guard can be arranged upon request. Even with precautions, theft can happen. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager cannot be held responsible for lost items.
