Here is the breakdown of the rooms on the property: The Master Villa can sleep 6-8 people. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 sofa couches. There are 2 Ocean View studios that each have a king size bed and a sofa bed for 2-3 people each. There are 2 Garden View studios that each have a king size bed and can sleep 2 people each. Take a 20 –minute stroll down the beach, or a 5-minute car ride, to the bohemian, laid-back & culturally-diverse town of Puerto Viejo. Puerto Viejo offers delicious restaurants, fun shopping, and opportunities for surfing, jungle hikes, river-rafting, zip-lines, chocolate tours, animal sanctuary, yoga classes, snorkeling, horseback riding, and paddle boarding. Our wonderful Managers live close by and are as accessible as you need or want them to be. We also offer concierge services to assist you with activities, taxis, shuttles, sunset dinners on the beach, massages on your deck, private chefs, and more. Playa Negra, a 10-mile stretch of beach running from Puerto Viejo to Puerto Vargas in the Cahuita National Park, is largely deserted (just as it was in the 1970s!) The sea floor out in front of the cottage is all black sand (it is magnetic and said to have healing properties), and no rocks. Taxis ($4 to town), bicycles, and walking are the main options of getting around. Most tours will pick up and drop off at Villas Serenidad.
