Drumbo Country House; Hot Tub, Sauna & Gym

Drumbo Country House is a great place to stay as a group of friends or for a family get together, as there are private spa facilities to avail of during your stay: including the hot tub and sauna. Both open from 7am-10pm every day. Accommodation is split between Drumbo Country House and The Vintage Cottage Box. Set within large mature gardens with plenty of space to kick a ball, play tennis or even pitch & putt. With facilities now available for an interactive Pizza Making night on site. The space Drumbo Country House offers accommodation for 16 people in total, 12 people in DCH, across 5 bedrooms, 2 with ensuite, the other 3 sharing a family bathroom consisting of shower, bath toilet and sink. The kitchen is open plan with the living room, and enough chairs to seat everyone for a meal together. There is a second living room that contains a large L-shaped sofa with log-burning fire. The Vintage Cottage Box is a refurbished Horse Truck, sleeping 4. There is a double bed just inside the door off the patio area, and the super-king bed is above the front cab, so does require a wee climb up to. A small fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster are provided within the truck. There is a hot running shower located outside of the truck, along with an outdoor toilet and sink. There are wide steps up to the accommodation and steep steps (with handrail) down to the hot tub, where all care must be taken especially when wet. Guest access A car is necessary to reach the property. Drumbo Country House is roughly a 10 min drive from the Junction 6 exit off the M1, following the signs for Carryduff/Comber. There is ample onsite secure parking close to the entrances of both sets of accommodation. Carryduff, a 2 mile drive down the road, has small set of shops including a Spar, Winemark, and local restaurant Eight South. A further ½ mile through Carryduff on the road to Belfast is Let’s Go Hydro, a fantastic outdoor water sports activity centre. Other things to note We hate rules as much as the next person, but to get the most out of your stay, we have to put a few in place for your comfort. Absolutely NO FAKE TAN is to be applied prior to your stay if you are wanting to use the hot tub as it stains it and renders it unfit for use, the tub is emptied and cleaned between guest stays, but if fake tan is in the tub on the first day we will have to empty, clean and refill and it takes a minimum of 24 hrs to come back up to temperature. There is disclaimers for using the hot tub and the sauna, you will do so at your own risk.
