Vacation home with enchanting views and fireplace

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful accommodation. This charming little house is hidden very close to the Saalfeld fairy grottos and in the middle of the Thuringian Forest. With an indescribable view over Saalfeld, you can take a break from stressful everyday life. Through a climbing frame and a playhouse, children can romp around carefree. The existing fireplace gives the house even more a cozy flair. The space The accommodation (about 85 sqm) offers a fully equipped, modern kitchen on the ground floor and an adjoining bathroom with toilet. The living room with its fireplace invites you to linger. Please note that we do not provide firewood. However, you are welcome to bring your own wood to fully enjoy the evenings by the fireplace. In the living room you can spend the day comfortably with the WII or existing board games even in cloudy weather. The office leads to the upper floor, with the three themed bedrooms. The family room has a double bed (140 x 200 cm) with TV and a bunk bed. The anchor room, which impresses with its maritime flair, offers a single bed (90 x 200 cm). In the VIP lounge you will find a double bed (140 x 200 cm) with a chill-out area in a purple look. All sleeping places are equipped with blankets (135 x 200 cm) and pillows. Outside, a built-in charcoal grill is available to our guests on the inviting terrace. Please remember to leave the grill clean after use. Seating and canopy are offered (depending on the weather) from April to September. The little house "Sonnenschein," the climbing frame and the trampoline invite children to play and romp around. The steep driveway offers a quiet location, but in winter (with snow and ice) it is at your own risk! Road salt and snow shovels are available. BY THE WAY: The 1st Saalfeld Grotto Fairy spent many happy years in this hut and wishes you a great stay. If you look closely, you'll also find a magical greeting. Guest access Self check-in: 3 pm - 12 am (via key box) Check-out: 10 am Other things to note From the accommodation, the fairy grottos are within a maximum of 10-minute walk away. It is also a maximum of 20 minutes on foot. Directly behind the property are many hiking trails, but also in the Thuringian Forest it is not far. Other nearby destinations are: Hohenwarte Stausee, SaaleMaxx, Schaubergwerk Morassina, Residenzschloss Heidecksburg, and much more. The following services can be booked optionally (please contact us directly after booking): 1x bed linen and 1x towels per person: €25 From 04/01/2020, the state-recognized spa town of Saalfeld - Heilstollenstadt charges a tourist tax per day of stay of €2/day for each adult and children 6-15 years. €1, children from 16 years €2, severely disabled €1, children 0 to 5 years free, accompanying person severely disabled free on request. Guest passes are issued to take advantage of discounts at local retailers and tourist offers. An overview of all offers can be found in the booklet provided on site.
