Surrounded by nature, this cabin is located in Sequoia National Forest with hiking, biking, rafting, off-roading and all things nature right outside the door. Enjoy the cozy beds, oversized living & dining room, gourmet kitchen, games, books & more. Thoughtfully furnished & well equipped, this cabin is the perfect place for a family or friends' trip. Close to Kern River & Lake Isabella. Pet-friendly & kid-approved. The space TRAVELING FROM NOVEMBER THROUGH MARCH: Snow storms and icey roads can happen! Due to unpredictable weather conditions, please only plan a trip to this area if you have either an all-wheel or 4-wheel vehicle. Snow chains are also recommended, but they are not enough for a 2-wheel vehicle to navigate the private road and driveway up to the cabin. ONLY inquire if adequate vehicles are available for your trip. DESCRIPTION: It’s your home-away-from home, offering everything for a comfortable stay. Comfy living room setting, a well-stocked gourmet kitchen, huge fridge and freezer, 4 large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, plush beds, fans in every room, a large soaking jacuzzi tub, air conditioning, central heat, and a pellet stove for the winter month, lots of games, books, a foosball table, arcade games, an expansive private yard, ample parking and more! Over 3000 sq. ft. of living space for you and your fellow travelers to enjoy. No open ceiling lofts, pull-out couches or air mattresses! EVERYONE sleeps comfortable and can enjoy the stay. The cabin sits within Sequoia National Forest, and is surrounded by forest and nature. It is located just above Lake Isabella, in a small mountain community at around 6000ft elevation. This means it's cooler in the Summer and we get snow in the Winter. Lake Isabella, the Kern River and the quaint, old western goldmining town Kernville are only a short drive away. The Trail of 100 Giants (Giant Sequoia Grove) can be accessed from here as well, taking a picturesque 1 hour drive up the Kern River. Plenty of activities for all ages can be found here, including hiking, rafting, off-roading, skiing and so much more! This is not a party house! (Transient tax number: 2107) Guest access The neighborhood is gated and very private. You have access to the whole house and yard, minus the garage and some supply closets. Other things to note WHEN BOOKING Please book for the accurate number of guests. The pricing is tiered to accommodate both small and large groups. EASY CHECK-IN AND LATE CHECK-OUTS! Check in is easy and contactless, for your convenience. Arrive any time after 3pm and use a keylock code to enter. On your last day, take your time! We know packing up and leaving can be a drag, so we extended our check-out time to 11am. PETS Pets are welcome at this property, and have a fenced in area to play in. Please do not let your pets get onto furniture, couches, beds or use the towels or linens for them to sleep on. Also, please clean up after your pets outside. SUPPLIES We always stock plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, and pellets for the stove to make sure you are supplied for the first several days of your stay. However, if you are staying longer and are running out, please restock as needed. EQUIPMENT The games, yard games and books are there for you to use during your stay. Please put them back when you depart so that our next guests can also enjoy them. SECURITY EQUIPMENT We have one security camera on the outside of the house, facing the front driveway. This is for our safety and yours. No cameras inside the house WINTER TRAVEL This cabin is situated at 6000ft elevation, which means snow and frost is likely during the Winter months. Please consider your vehicles and willingness to drive in snowy conditions, before booking this cabin. Snow days are beautiful, but driving conditions can be hazardous. 4-wheel or all-wheel vehicles only from December through March.
