Owners are long time residents and live nearby. NOTE- holidays/long weekends require minimum 3 day stay Snowmobile/ATV season weekends - 2 night minimum Enjoy being at your own private camp with no neighbors in sight. When not out enjoying Clarksville and the surrounding area, stay in and curl up to a good book or enjoy some of the games and puzzles provided. There are even a few toys for the kids. Here you are off-grid with no tv or internet, although those may by accessed with your own devices. The area has cell coverage for ATT & Verizon. Sit on the front porch and look out towards Lake Francis. Owners are nearby to ask questions about the area. Full access to the main floor and loft - however, no access to the basement or the utility spaces. Future plans are for parts of that space to be renovated into additional sleeping quarters. Additionally, no access to the solar shed or other outbuildings on the property. Owners live less than a mile away from the cabin. We're here to help. Rural setting on town maintained road. Town even plows the driveway making winter access much more convenient. Snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, fishing, hunting, bird watching, covered bridges and more stars to see than most anywhere else in the states. One can never forget to look for the local moose, deer and bears. Moose Alley is just a nice evening drive up Route 3 in Pittsburg. Located within a mile of downtown Pittsburg, NH. Access groceries and gas nearby as well as several town restaurants located just "up the road". During the summer months, access to Lake Francis is just a walk across the roads and down the short natural trail through the woods. The cabin is located on a town maintained road and the town also plows the driveway. In the winter months, the driveway can be slippery. There is a barrel of sand available to assist with traction if needed. Our two wheel drive van can make it to the cabin, but we do have good tires. Access may be an issue for those unfamiliar with winter driving, in which case, 4-wheel drive may allow a higher level of comfort. As owners, we live about a mile from camp and will help if possible. This cabin is off grid. The interior of the solar shed is off limits to guests as are the solar controls. There will be those cloudy days when the on site, on demand generator will need to be run. Again, because we are nearby, we will be sure you have sufficient power. The cabin has propane for heat, hot water and the stove. NH R&M License # 101134
