LOG CABIN - DIRECT trail access on private 25 acres. Off-grid with solar power and on-demand generator. Located just one mile from Pittsburg village & walking distance to Lake Francis. Spiral staircase to sleeping loft with one full and 2 twin beds. Sleeper sofa in living room. Full bath on main floor. Discount for weekly stays. Owners are long time residents and live nearby. NOTE- holidays/long weekends require minimum 3 day stay Snowmobile/ATV season weekends - 2 night minimum The space Enjoy being at your own private camp with no neighbors in sight. When not out enjoying Clarksville and the surrounding area, stay in and curl up to a good book or enjoy some of the games and puzzles provided. Here you are off-grid but have the benefit of a back up generator. Sit on the front porch and look out towards Lake Francis which is just a short walk down a wooded path. Cell service is available if you want to access your life back home. Owners live just a mile down the road to ask questions about the area. (Please note, we are currently working on a nearby project which is out of cell service. We will respond asap.) Guest access Full access to the main floor and loft - however, no access to the basement or the utility spaces. Future plans are for parts of that space to be renovated into additional sleeping quarters. Additionally, no access to the solar shed or other outbuildings on the property. Other things to note The cabin is located on a town maintained road and the town also plows the driveway. In the winter months, the driveway can be slippery. There is a barrel of sand available to assist with traction if needed. Our two wheel drive van can make it to the cabin, but we do have good tires. Access may be an issue for those unfamiliar with winter driving, in which case, 4-wheel drive may allow a higher level of comfort. As owners, we live about a mile from camp and will help if possible. This cabin is off grid. The interior of the solar shed is off limits to guests as are the solar controls. There will be those cloudy days when the on site, on demand generator will run. Again, because we are nearby, we will be sure you have sufficient power. The cabin has propane for heat, hot water and the stove. NH R&M License # 101134
