Our cozy little cabin is snuggled within the scenic Wayne National Forest. Conveniently located minutes from historic Nelsonville. A short drive to the famers market, restaurants and breweries of Athens, and hiking at Old Mans Cave located in the Hocking Hills. Both trail heads for the Baileys Trail System (Chauncey and Doanville) are located within a few short miles with the trails running closely to the cabin. **PETS ALLOWED** (requires prior approval and pet cleaning fee) The space This is a cozy little cabin snuggled in the ridges of Wayne National Forest. The cabin has a kitchenette with a dining area, two loft sleeping area, welcoming common area with a wood burning stove. Enjoy the view overlooking the hills while having a fire right outside the front door off the front deck. A water cooler that provides hot and cold water is provided but no running water. Guest access Our guests privacy is extremely important to us. There is a steep gravel drive that leads our guest to the cabin. If you have AWD or 4WD vehicles you are welcome to drive up yourselves. If you do not, we will happily provide you with a shuttle to bring you and your belongings up. The property is also very walkable, only about a 3 minute walk from the parking area. Other things to note SHOWER HOUSE There is a newly built shower house available to our guests! This modern, clean and comfortable space is located near the cabin. We offer comfy towels and washclothes, just bring your personal toiletries. There is a compost toilet in the cabin for convenience. WiFi We now offer a Wi-Fi hotspot at the shower house/parking area!
