Everything is modern but still maintains its quaint Texas feel. The house has a traditional "Texas State" inspired theme with lots of Texas memorabilia. The home has 1,700 square feet of living space perfect for Christmas, Thanksgiving and any other family gatherings. The large kitchen is fully equipped, and includes an island stove and wall oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, Keurig, rice cooker, cooking pots & pans, slow cookers, utensils, and lots of dishware. The house has central air conditioning and heating. There are ceiling fans installed in every room. The air temp is controlled by a Google Nest thermostat located in the central hallway. Within the dining there is a beautiful dining table with seating for 6 and bar seating for 3 additional people. There's an antique roll top desk workspace and shelves with paperback books and games. There is a washer and dryer for guest in the laundry area including an iron and ironing board. Guest access The house has a keyless lock located on the front door. You will be provided a door code to access the front door around 9:00 am the day of your arrival. The house has one step up to access the house. House is located on a double corner lot with plenty of fenced yard and space to nearby houses. Other things to note The house has impressive exterior and garden lighting for excellent night-time visibility. All bedrooms and the living room have TV's with Roku internet service installed. All rooms have ceiling fans installed. There is plenty of parking available. A maximum of four vehicles can park on the driveway and since the house sits on a corner lot there is plenty of street parking available if needed. The house has a detached garage and storage building which is not accessible by guests. The garage is used for personal storage by the host and the host may need to access the garage to retrieve personal items. Pet Policy The Lonestar house is a pet friendly home; however, we do charge a $30.00 pet fee. Please select the $30.00 pet fee option when booking. In your booking message, please tell us a little about your pet(s) e.g. type, breed, weight etc. Bringing a pet without notifying the hosts and paying the pet fee will result in an additional fee of $100.00 per pet/per day. Guests must agree to the following: 1. Max of two pets allowed 2. Max weight of each pet must be under 50 pounds 3. Pet(s) must be house-trained 4. No potentially aggressive breeds e.g. Pit bulls, Rottweiler, Dobermans etc. 5. Pets are not allowed on furniture, especially beds 6. Guests must bring their own dog food and water bowls 7. Not required - but recommended - that dogs are crated while guests are not at home. 8. Guests agree to pick up any pet droppings in the yard and disposed properly in the city trash can before departing. 9. Cleaning up after your pet is not included in our normal cleaning fee therefore guests agree to clean up all pet related issues - or be charged an additional pet cleaning fee 10. San Angelo has a leash law, all dogs in public must be on a leash - including our front yard. 11. Guests agree to report any pet related damage before departing 12. Guests bringing pets agree to pay for all pet related damages.
